The Test Patch Series is something I started back in October 2021.
It’s built around one simple idea…
There are loads of misconceptions in lawn care.
People say things like:
“If you don’t do X, your grass won’t grow.”
So I wanted to find out the truth.
Each test patch is about seeing what actually happens — not what people think happens.
And honestly… a lot of the results surprise me.
Things I expected to work sometimes don’t…
And things that shouldn’t work… actually do.
These aren’t quick tests either.
Every video is filmed over months.
The latest test patch took 6 months… and 17 separate filming days to complete.
It’s also me putting my money where my mouth is…
Testing things properly and showing you what genuinely works (and what doesn’t).
