RANT!

It’s actually insane how Genshin editors can just disappear for like FOUR DAYS and come back like nothing happened—and somehow they don’t lose subscribers or likes. Meanwhile, smaller creators take one day off and their engagement drops off a cliff.
The reason is kinda unfair but also makes sense. Big Genshin editors have already built a loyal audience. People aren’t just following them for random edits—they’re following for their style, their taste in songs, and the way they edit certain characters. So when they stop posting, their followers don’t leave… they just wait.
Also, the algorithm treats them differently. Once you’ve gone viral multiple times, your account has momentum. When they come back after 4 days, their video still gets pushed out because the platform already “trusts” their content. Smaller editors? Yeah… the algorithm forgets them instantly.
Another thing is quality over quantity. A lot of these editors don’t post every day—they post when they have something GOOD. So their audience is used to waiting. Taking 4 days off doesn’t feel like “disappearing,” it just feels normal.
And honestly? Scarcity works. If you post less, people get more excited when you finally upload. It’s like:
“OMG they’re back”
“New edit finally dropped” That hype alone boosts likes and shares.
Meanwhile, if someone posts every day and suddenly stops, people move on fast because there’s no “event” feeling when they return.
