I’m going through my YouTube footage hard drive to clear up space and now I’m emotional going down memory lane.

I’ve been doing this YouTube thing full time for just over 6 years now, starting in March of 2020. Watching myself back, I’m not 2018-2020 Aidan or anymore. And that’s for the best. I’ve grown mentally and emotionally. I’ve learned a lot about myself & where I’ll go in life.

I’m a filmmaker, I’m a writer, I’m a YouTuber and I’m a creator. I’ve been able to make SO MANY friends through YouTube. Without my friends, I’m not confident I’d have friends at all. I’ve been able to do so many cool things I wouldn’t have been able to do without YouTube.

I’ve made videos with creators I grew up watching and befriended some of them. I’ve met some friends IRL. I’m partnered with the biggest game in the world. I have my own merch, and it turned out pretty fucking good. I’m grateful for how far I’ve come, literally and mentally.

Growing up, I didn’t watch TV, I watched YouTube. I had always told myself I’d become of those YouTubers too. It was a dream that actually became reality. And I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. I’m doing this YouTube thing for as long as I can and as long as I want.

As I prepare to go back to college, my videos and content schedule will be strange and all over then place until I find my footing again. 100k and that shiny play button is still a goal and dream of mine.

Important mini update:

First off, I apologize for the severe lack of content lately.
Between preparing to go back to college and working on my Minecraft animations, I haven’t had time to make regular gaming content. The animations have been eating up all my time.

For the next couple of months or so, content will be all over the place while I try and figure out where to go with this channel. I’m not going to abandon it. Views and subscribers have been stagnant and I’ve been trying to figure out why. I’ve always wanted to be a YouTuber and still do. I scriptwrite, I produce, I animate, I edit. I work hard behind the scenes. All I want is for it to pay off.
