Love these crankbaits! Scored a good deal at Bass Pro so had to snatch up a few. What’s your go to shallow bait?

Need YOUR option: Trying new things is how we learn and grow. In this video I tried something new for my tourney recap.

As I have watched many others there is a lot of just fishing. Or some back and forth fishing and talking head. Some of these videos drag on or just plain run on too long. For my videos I try and condense some of the best lessons and tips into quick 10 minute videos.

If you haven’t watched this, please give it a quick look and let me know if you liked it.

The other option in the future I’m debating is to release a tourney recap video one day. The next day uploading the commentary style like I did here. That way you can get the inside my head stuff if you want it and if you just want the highlights and a regular style video you can watch that.

Again we are a community. This channel is for you. Let me know what you want to see and what works for you.

Few weeks back I posted this poll here:

As expected an overwhelming amount of y’all voted for fried fish. So I thought I’d share my favorite way to prepare a fish fry.

I want to add this is also gluten free. My wife had a gluten intolerance so out house went pretty much gluten free years ago. And before you think ā€œhow do you not eat glutenā€ It’s pretty easy… just like this fintastic recipe. Yes that was meant as a penny joke.

What is something you want to be better at? Is there a skill you want to learn?

Do you want to learn a new language? Become better at cooking? Loose weight? With commitment you can do anything.

I went into 2022 with the goal of forcing myself to be better at two techniques I felt I needed to be successful cranking was one of them.

It’s not that I haven’t done it much, it’s just something I don’t do often. With all skills in life the less frequent you do something, the greater the skills diminish. Think about how much of that high school Spanish you still remember?

After spending most of the year slinging around crankbaits more than I typically do I can say without a doubt I’m a big fan of the Rapala OG slim. I love the tight wobble and the floating of the balsa makes it so I can actually fish this around grass without getting too fouled up.

Not sponsored. Just honest review.

Y’all be on the lookout!šŸ‘€ NEW video about to drop breaking down what happens when your mental energy is tested durring a fishing tournament.

How do you deal with stress and stay calm?

Most people think that the hardest part of tournament fishing is finding and catching fish. However the true challenge is how you keep your head in he game. Making smart decisions and performing at your highest level is what it takes to come out at the top of the leaderboard.
