Two different days, fathers day (apparently I didn't realise) so thinking of both our dad's today who have passed.
And summer solstice, celebrated over several days, in the UK it's celebrating the lighter months although I. Vietnam we don't have that issue!

Sometimes all you need is a coffee and a view, I'm taking a few hours to myself. The kids are both improving and we should be out and about in a few days so that's fantastic! Hopefully we can get in some sight seeing before we leave Vietnam 🙏

Phew my phone's telling me it's a heady 38 degrees today! I never knew you could sweat this much! 🤣
However locally they have been drying rice and peanuts in the sun so the heat is used wisely!
I understand it's 26 degrees back in the UK, I will never moan those sort of temperatures again 😅

Today's view of where we are doing some home educating as a group. Today is Spanish!
This morning we went to the local market for fresh local fruit and veg.
This afternoon will be pool swimming and likely the beach and more swimming!
It still amazes me that we can live this way within our budget.

It's that time again! Airports are really quite frustrating with young kids. Modern tech actually makes it harder!
If you enter a country via an e-gate you have to leave it via the e-gate we were told. That's fine but not when your 5 year old enters ok but the camera can't see her on the way out as she is short. Also you don't get stamps with the e-gate which is useful for proof of entry date of the next country.
But these rules are not set in stone as sage had to go through immigration via a person anyway so in Theory you should be able to choose......but you can't unless it's an issue!

This is what I love about Malaysia, markets appear at night and they are a great experience to walk around. We have left Langkawi and we have a few days at a new stay before we leave for the next country. ✌️
