Earlier this year, my beloved Argentine Black and White Tegu, Goji, passed. He was about 12 years old. His name is short for Gojira, of course referencing Godzilla but also because the band is badass. Every time I listen to Gojira's "Silvera" I hear that intro riff in my head with his name (Goji, chugga chugga chugga chugga Go-Ji!) haha. I also called him my dragon puppy. He will be missed.
I've been so busy this year that I never took time to process it or honor him properly. So, I decided to paint him for one of my art submissions.
