After having an allotment for 10 years I thought I'd share what goes on. I hope to show you what's possible for someone low on budget and time, but with plenty of enthusiasm. I'm no expert but I know the basics, you may learn something, you may not, but there's only one way to find out.

Plenty still going on at the allotment at the end of October, the Pumpkins are now at home ready for Halloween, Chillies are continuing to ripen (and I did manage to get a crop of the Hot Lemon, so am pleased with that), Apples ready to pick (and not too many have been blown off the tree yet - phew), Beetroot is still cropping, and Leeks and Parsnips I'll sample soon enough. I've been busy with this and that, and have been away on a quick holiday, so no video for a few weeks. The main reason for the lack of videos though to be honest is I'm spending WAY too much time on my Halloween Special video, filming and now I'm in the final stages of editing. If you're a regular viewer and a fan of multiple Dave's, overly complex storylines, dodgy jokes and even more dodgy special effects, I promise you, you're in for a real treat. Keep and eye out for "The Tainted Glove" coming in the next few days, probably mid week. Cheers Dave x

Beautiful weekend at the allotment as spring starts to arrive, I'm working on a new video about pruning my raspberries that will be ready in a couple of days. Happy New Year to all my viewers and subscribers, thanks for all the views and comments in 2024, I really appreciate the support from every single one of you. I've been busy at the allotment lately building a new compost area, and the accompanying video about it should be ready in the next week. Back home from holiday soon, excited to see what's changed at the allotment in the past 2 weeks, my son's been on watering duties, fingers crossed for not too many weeds, video update in next week or so. Cheers

Theme of today at the #allotment is definitely green and red. Green beans keep coming, tomatoes aplenty, another courgette and I've started to harvest the chillies. Get ready for some serious chilli analysis in the next video as I compare the plants growing at home to the ones at the allotment. Hope you're as excited as I am. Cheers x

It's been a busy week with work and life in general, so unfortunately there has been a delay in uploading this weeks video. It should be ready in the next couple of days, I do know it's theme though - Height!

Hello! Some good news for me and some bad news for you!
1) It's my Birthday today (and it's one of those ones that ends in a zero!) - So here's a picture of a birthday onion!
