There was a delay in my schedule, as I had to attend to personal, family matters. But now I'm back, and shot a new series already. Introduction to Developmental Psychology will begin on Friday, March 27th -- less than a month from now. It will be 11 long videos, on consecutive Fridays at noon (GMT +2). Shorts from these will appear later. I also keep publishing the Shorts edited from the Intro to Psychology Course.

TFF - Teacher From Finland

As you may have noticed, I'm currently posting a Short daily (at noon Finnish time). They are cut from the Introduction to Psychology Course and added to a list dedicated to the Shorts on the topic. They will not include everything contained in the videos for the Course, of course, but will hopefully bring in new viewers.

I am also writing an Introduction to Developmental Psychology, and it should be finished relatively soon. I will then start making videos based on that.

There is also some unfortunate family stuff going on, meaning that there will be delays.

Thanks to everyone who has been watching my videos and otherwise supporting me! I hope you keep on doing that! I really appreciate any help I get, as it's really not easy for me to get subscribers and views. My content isn't exactly entertainment for the general masses, after all. To enjoy my videos you have to be actually interested in the topic, which in my opinion is a sign of intelligence and good character, in this world filled with brainless entertainment. :)

It seems that YouTube has come up with a new category for videos that seems exactly the right one for my videos: "courses". So, now my playlists for Introduction to Philosophy and Critical Thinking, Introduction to Ethics, and Introduction to Psychology are all listed as Courses! Cool! I have no idea what, if anything, this actually means! :D

As I continue making long videos, I decided to also make some shorter ones about general life advice. The reason being that it takes a long time to create the long ones, as I have to read and write quite a bit before I can start shooting. The videos about life advice I intend to make more quickly, as I only need to base them on my own experiences, and if I have to make educated guesses, I can fall on my own education for that.

The reason I'm writing this is that it occurred to me that you might want to hear my thoughts on some matter. If you have something to ask, drop a line (really on any of my videos), and ask away. I might then make a video about that thing, if I have something to say about it. :)

I'll be too busy to make new videos for a while now. Work, and also moving to a new city. I'll keep making Shorts from the long ethics videos until I run out of them. I will resume making long videos as soon as possible, but it could take two months before I publish the next video, the one about conspiracy theories (it's also taking an unusually long time to make that one for other reasons).

(1) I have now added my latest e-book, Introduction to Ethics to Google Play Books, where you can download it, as well as my earlier, Introduction to philosophy and critical thinking, FOR FREE, until I change my mind and the pricing of the books. (2) I am starting a new series, Introduction to Psychology. That doesn't mean I'm completely changing the subject, don't worry! I will return to philosophy, but I just want to do this now. Also, there are connections between the two disciplines, as I hope to be able to show. If you know people interested in psychology (or philosophy, or...), let them know about this channel! :)

(3) I'm considering also making videos in Finnish, with a bit of a different style. But if I do start posting videos in Finnish, that doesn't mean I've stopped making them in English. My main language here will be English, because that is central to the point or raison d'être of this channel.

I need help with the algorithm. It was probably a mistake to make a couple of videos about gaming, because my next philosophy video got no very close to no views at all! It's about applied ethics, this time specifically the professional ethics of nurses. Even if you're not interested in that profession, the video may still be of interest, at least if you are at all interested in ethics. If so, please check it out and give it a thumbs up, so the algorithm might at least show the video to some potential viewers. It's depressing to take all the time to make a video to not have even a few dozen people see it.
