Talib Kweli earned recognition early on through Black Star with Yasiin Bey and his work with Cincinatti's Hi Tek in Reflection Eternal. Kweli's musical career continued with solo successes like the songs Get By.
As an activist, Talib Kweli has worked with organizations like Malcolm X Grassroots Movement and the Movement For Black Lives. From Occupy Wall Street, to Tallahassee to Ferguson, Missouri, Kweli pulls up to ground zero.

Tef Poe is a musician and activist from St. Louis, Missouri. He is a fellow at Harvard University, and a freestyle champ on BET's 106 and Park. He is also the founder of Crow Life Records and Formation Through Power. As an activist, Poe has testified at the United Nations on behalf of the Ferguson protesters. In 2015, he traveled to Palestine as a member of the historic Dream Defenders delegation.
