New video this Sunday. I know “fandom toxicity” has been a topic of discussion since forever, but I am so frustrated with some things that I saw recently, that I wanted to make a quick video about how NOT to treat up-and-coming authors.

Sorry for not posting lit analysis. I am at a halt since I have a portfolio to turn in by the end of summer for the 3D animation program. That plus classes and work, there is no time to read and write. On the up side, if I get accepted, I am so excited to finally put all the theory I’ve learned into practice. So I am giving it my all! ANNOUNCEMENT:
The latest video will be the last time I'll use the AI voice!
As I was making it, the feeling of not being myself daunted me. The fact that I was essentially perpetuating a stereotype for my own comfort. Of course, I am a little scared as I did try my real voice with the Satosugu video, and it ended up performing very poorly in comparison to the AI counterpart, which is the most popular video on my channel. That definitely reaffirmed my bias.

But with my health improving and me not working as much as I used to, when I revisited my "why" recently, using it didn't seem as worth it anymore. I want to be able to express my excitement about the media I consume. I want to fangirl about Frankenstein cinematography.

I feel like this next video on the Milgram experiment is the perfect jumping-off point, as it is lower stakes and I am the person being experimented on. So it is only fair. :3

One last thing, I want to thank all of you who, again, respected my choice and waited till I was ready to take the step permanently. I am grateful to have you around.
