🚫 Thinking about jumping to Blender 5 the moment it drops? Maybe hold up.
I learned it the hard Way 💔
Here are 5 quick reasons you might want to stay with 4.5 a little longer:
1️⃣ New releases = new bugs. 4.5 is stable and predictable.
2️⃣ A lot of your add-ons probably won’t be updated right away.
3️⃣ If you’re mid-project, even small changes can throw your whole look off.
4️⃣ Blender 5 might shift workflows or UI and slow you down while you adjust.
5️⃣ Opening old projects in 5 can “upgrade” them, making it hard to go back.
NO RUSH.
You can still install Blender 5 to explore new features but keep Blender 4.5. And I Highly recommend completing your ongoing project with Blender 4.5.
