Yesterday, I and many other creators were hit by a series of blocks on all videos using content from the album Even in Arcadia. This doesn’t come wholly as a surprise to me, as RCA was already cracking down on SoundCloud by the time I began making mashups. However, the move is disappointing. I encourage you all to watch GlenJRobinson’s video on the subject, as his manner of expression reflects the same loathing for the label industry as abides in my own Kpop-fan heart.
I still intend to share my journey of discovery with all of you, whether we stay on YouTube or eventually have to hide in the darkened crevices of another platform like Patreon. I can’t wait to listen to Jaws with you for the first time! 🦈
