I spent hours today trying to find the perfect music to make the perfect playlist for you guys today. Like, to the point where I was considering not posting at all. I was so worried about how it would look and sound from the outside in that I forgot to consider it from the inside out. This happens in my content creation, crochet, and even in my academic work!

So I stopped and asked myself, "Who am I trying to impress?". No matter what I put together, I have a wonderful family and audience who support me through it. What matters is that I like what I'm making, I do my best, and most importantly, I MAKE IT. I think that applies to all of us. Sometimes we want things to be perfect so badly, we forget that perfection isn't something humans can achieve.


So today I want you to look at yourself and wonder, What aren't you creating because you're waiting to be perfect at it? Feel free to put it down in the chat if you feel comfortable. And take my advice, don't let perfectionism get in the way of creation. Make what you want to make first, and then at least you made it ^-^.

Not my usual content, but I made these adorable little ghosts using an overmydeadstitches pattern and I’m OBSESSED. They’re one of my first commissions of the year so unfortunately I can’t keep them, but I’m thinking of making a jumbo one for myself. Also, any name ideas?
