Second book of the challenge.

And this one has to be a 4.75 star 🥹✨💜

The Lost Prince by Frances Hodgson Burnett.

The writing style? Perfect.

Characters? Perfect.

Plot? Perfect.

Everything could be seen as a spoiler. I didn’t care for The False Prince, because THIS is what I was expecting.

The only flaw is that she seems to get close to Christianity, but misses it with magic stuff :/

So highly recommend though. Please read this book 🥹

So I’m in a LOTR bookclub, so I had to read another chapter of the Fellowship.

And I loved chapter two 😭

Like, I think it was so good. I loved just reading all of the facts Gandalf was just pouring out, I LOVE Sam. And Frodo is even likable 😭

But, it made me realize that this ONE chapter is coming to screens with the search for Gollum, and that makes me a bit nervous.

I loved the chapter, but it stands as a CHAPTER. Could a whole movie be made out of it?

Possibly, but I feel like so much fluff and added stuff will be there that…ehhhmmmm.

I don’t like that very much 😭

I love this story so much, I love the movies we have so much, I LOVE VIGGO MORETENSEN SO MUCH—

I don’t know y’all. What do you all think about the upcoming movie?

First book of the challenge finished!

I read Anne of Avonlea finally, and I loved it!

Easily a 4.5 star for me.

I didn’t love it quite as much as I did Anne of Green Gables, but I love the progression and reality of this world.

I know this series may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but for me, I’m excited for Anne of the Island. And this was a great way to start the challenge!

By the way, I did not read the entire book today. I was over halfway through it and finished it today 🤣

Now it’s time for the next book! Let me know if you have read this book before :)
