The goal of this channel is to build a collection of lists of the best albums from certain genres within certain time periods. The purpose is to spread good heavy/alternative music to as many people as possible and make it easier for people to find new songs and albums they want to listen to. No AI was involved in the making of these videos, its just a passion project. :)

Finally got this beautiful pre-order in the mail today 😁
Go check out Worm's new album (and their older stuff while you're at it), it fucking slaps and the guitars are amazing. There's even a Marty Friedman feature on the closing track to top it all off.
Really really really big fan of this band, can't recommend them enough.

Hey everyone, it’s been a little while since the last upload. We’ve been pretty busy working on some design projects over on our Instagram, which slowed things down a bit here. I would’ve loved to get the end-of-year lists out earlier (especially since we’re already halfway through January), but things didn’t go entirely as planned.
To make up for it, I’ll be dropping the final lists today, tomorrow and the day after, and after that we’ll be back to regular programming. In the meantime, feel free to revisit the other three lists that have already been uploaded, you might discover something that didn’t catch your ear on the first listen.

There unfortunately won’t be a new video today. I'm wrapping up the end of this semester in college and have been working on a few major projects that are taking up all my time and focus. I’ll try my best to get the video out in the next few days, but I can’t promise anything just yet.
That said, there’s a lot of exciting stuff coming up as we head toward the end of the year, so stay tuned :))

I would highly recommend everyone go check out One of Nine's new album "Dawn Of The Iron Shadow". It's fantasy-themed melodic black metal (tolkien-themed to be specific) done to perfection and the artwork is absolutely beautiful.

If you haven’t checked out these recent releases yet, here’s your reminder to do so.
After 30 years, thrash legends Coroner have returned with an absolute masterpiece in 'Dissonance Theory' - a record that somehow manages to make thrash metal sound fresh and unique, even in 2025.
The Acacia Strain’s new project, 'You’re Safe From God Here', is heavy af and a really fun listen. Definitely worth checking out if you’re into metalcore and/or deathcore. The closing track -- the nearly 14-minute doom/sludge epic “eucharist ii: BLOOD LOSS”, featuring the psych/stoner rock band Blackwater Holylight -- is particularly fascinating and a great way to close out the album.
