Welcome to N57 Fishing, I’m Ali and I love all types of fishing.
On this channel I hope not only to have fun catching fish but also show off the amazing landscapes of Scotland. Everywhere from tiny hill lochs to city harbours to wild, rugged coastlines.
I use many different methods to catch fish, everything from Fly fishing for Trout, to Float fishing for Wrasse and smashing Pollock on lures, with the occasional Pike session too.

New video out tomorrow
Only got my car back on Friday so haven’t had much time to fish. In the one session I did fit in, I hooked a couple of pollock but didn’t manage to land any.
The video will include some clips from previous sessions that I didn’t make into a video, as well as some shellfish foraging and cooking.

I was hoping to get a sea fishing video out this week. I was originally going to do some bait fishing down in East Lothian but my car’s off the road again, so I had to stay local.
I was trying out a new spot but only caught one pollock (photo below) and the strong wind ruined the audio.
I’m posting another trout fishing session later today. Hopefully I’ll get some more salt water fishing done soon.

Today’s video is quite short, after a tough week of fishing, but there’ll be another video out on Wednesday.
I was going to launch another channel but decided against it, as it would take up too much time editing.
The video on Wednesday was meant for the new channel but because it does have some fishing in it, I’m going to post it here, since it’s already edited.

Hi everyone,
I was hoping to get a Cod fishing video up this week but didn’t have much luck over on the east coast, only landing Coalfish and crabs.
So I went back out later in the week to target Pollock and have made a catch and cook for tonight’s video.
Catching a few nice fish and making a delicious spicy pollock pie.
Hope you enjoy watching, as much as I enjoyed eating it.

Hi everyone,
I’ve not got today’s video edited in time so it will be out tomorrow instead.
I found another incredible pollock mark and landed lots of nice fish.

Bonus video out tomorrow - 10 Minute Challenge
On the way back from trying out a new mark, I stopped off at last weeks spot, to see how many fish could I catch in 10 minutes.
Also had the dolphins stop by again and got some amazing footage this time.
Let me know if you enjoy this video and I might make it a regular, extra video each week.
