How Y’all feeling about Yakuza Kiwami 3? Personally I think the changes in story are pretty bad. As Giovanni Colantonio from Polygon put it: “it retcons Yakuza 3’s impactful story in a way that makes it clear that Ryu Ga Gotoku has no compelling long-term vision for the series. Finally, Yakuza had crossed the line between soap opera (complimentary) and soap opera (derogatory).”

Still, even with the bad story in tow, it’s still extremely fun to play and this is the most lively version of Kamurocho we’ve gotten so far. Not to mention expanding the Morning Glory arc into an entire dad simulator video game is pretty awesome.

Overall it seems to be a pretty divisive game…but I don’t regret my decision to buy it one bit. What say you?

I’ve recently been informed of J.III’s passing. He was a great friend, enlightened thinker, and fantastic music maker. Rest in peace brother. 🙏🏼🕊️. Going forward I will not be using his music anymore out of respect for him and his family.
