Just wanted to share a quick update — my eye surgery seems to be healing very well, and my vision is slowly but surely improving. By the grace of God, I’m on the mend and hope to be back to editing and filming again very soon.
To everyone who's been following Wine and Retribution, thank you so much for your patience and encouragement during this time. I haven’t forgotten you, and I’m looking forward to diving back into the project with fresh eyes — literally! More updates coming soon. Stay tuned, and God bless!

I’m thrilled to announce my latest short film project, Wine and Retribution! This modern adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe’s The Cask of Amontillado reimagines the classic tale of revenge, power, and deception in a contemporary setting.
Set against the backdrop of a family-owned vineyard, this psychological Gothic story delves into the dark side of human ambition and the lengths we’ll go to protect what we hold dear.
I’m excited to introduce the talented cast bringing these characters to life:
Angela Sasser as Annabel Sinclair, a resilient vineyard owner who will do what it takes to protect her legacy.
Ryan Sasser as Tony Gallo, a charming and ruthless man determined to claim what isn’t his.
Autumn Sasser as Elise, Annabel’s supportive granddaughter.
Joost Grant as The Priest, a confidant with whom Annabel reveals her deepest and darkest secrets.
Josh Sasser as Robert, a bartender who is a former employee of Annabel.
We’re currently in production, and I can’t wait to share more updates with you along the way. Wine and Retribution is set to release later this year—stay tuned for behind-the-scenes glimpses, trailers, and the premiere date!

I want to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who has watched my short film, Nevermore. This project has truly been a labor of love. The idea first took shape over 15 years ago, and filming began four years ago. During that time, I faced significant challenges, including losing my vision for nearly two years. Even now, as I navigate life legally blind, filming and editing take extra time and patience.
Seeing Nevermore reach 621 views and counting, with 17 likes, is incredibly meaningful to me. This project would not have been possible without your support and encouragement. Thank you all for helping make my dream a reality.
