I love Wild Camping and Long distance walking particularly through hike where I can combine both.
My go to equipment right now is the 3FUL gear Lanshan 1 and recently got myself the new Lanshan 1 2026 version from 3FUL gear which I tested out on two long distance walks : the South Downs Way which I walked and Wild Camped in both directions
The new South Hams Way , which I have been told I am the first to complete walking and wild camping
So a total of 20 nights real life testing of camping equipment
I have included some day walks, training, wild camping, thru hikes, Long distance hikes. Setting up and reviews of tent and wild camping equipment.

Definitely in my top ten comments/ things I’ve heard out walking.
At the end of a long hard days walking SWCP. On a very narrow track a large bloke coming the other way ignored path etiquette and just stopped in front of me blocking my way. In a thick Cornish accent said to me
“Ave u see a Adder?” after my tired brain worked out what was being asked of me I replied
“No, but I’ve seen a Newt” He looked at me with a totally straight face and said
“Pissed were it?” Then walked off chuckling 🤣😆😂
Brightened the rest of my walk thinking of him and his story telling that night in pub. 😀😎
