This community has grown by almost 50% in the last month, which has been amazing to see — welcome to everyone who’s new 🙌

And with that growth, I’ve had a lot of conversations that all circle around the same thing:

“I know what I like… but I’m not sure how to turn that into a reaction channel.”

A really common version of this is:
“I love anime, so I want to react to anime.”

And that might be the right answer — but it’s usually not the whole answer.

Liking something is a great starting point.
But to set yourself up well early on, there’s a little more to think through.

For example:
A guitarist might love sports with their whole heart…

but a guitarist reacting to guitar solos will usually have a much clearer starting lane than a guitarist reacting to sports highlights.

Same person. Same passion.
Different fit.

Here’s the simple framework I keep coming back to:

1️⃣ What do I actually enjoy reacting to?
2️⃣ What do I naturally bring on camera? (energy, humor, analysis, emotion, etc.)
3️⃣ Is there already an audience watching this?
4️⃣ Would someone want to come back for my next reaction?

When those line up, you don’t get a “perfect niche.”
You get a starting lane.

And that’s the goal — not forever.
Just enough clarity to start uploading, learn faster, and build confidence.
