Alhamdulillah, our 3rd Shahada of this dawah mission took place in the beautiful town of Tlaquepaque, Jalisco. 🇲🇽
After a fruitful conversation about faith, purpose, and the message of Islam, Brother Adrian made the decision to embrace Islam as his way of life.
Moments like these remind us that guidance belongs to Allah alone. Our responsibility is simply to convey the message with sincerity, wisdom, and compassion.
Shaykh Mohammad Idrissi has been a tremendous blessing to our dream team. His dedication, patience, and ability to connect with people have helped create meaningful opportunities for others to learn about Islam and ask sincere questions.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
"Convey from me, even if it is a single verse." (Sahih al-Bukhari)
Every conversation matters. Every brochure distributed, every Quran gifted, and every question answered is an opportunity to plant a seed that may grow into something beautiful by the permission of Allah.

One of today's dawah activities in Guadalajara was asking people a simple question:
"Where do you think she ( Nahela Morales ) is from?"
The answers came quickly, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Palestine... but not a single person guessed Mexico!
After several attempts, we would reveal that Sister Nahela is actually Mexican 🇲🇽. The surprise on people's faces immediately sparked meaningful conversations about Islam, identity, culture, and what it means to be Muslim.
Many people were eager to learn more, took photos with her, accepted @WhyIslam brochures, received copies of the Quran, and exchanged contact information with us through WhatsApp.
These interactions continue to remind us how powerful it is to challenge misconceptions through personal connections. For many, meeting a Mexican Muslim was their first opportunity to see that Islam is a faith that transcends race, ethnicity, and nationality.
It is truly a blessing to witness how open, curious, and welcoming the people of Guadalajara have been. Their willingness to engage, ask questions, and learn about Islam gives us great hope for the future.

Giving dawah in Zapopan, Jalisco to everyone who stopped to engage with us has been a true blessing, Alhamdulillah.
The message of Islam is for everyone, regardless of their background, culture, or life experience. Throughout our time here, we have found people to be welcoming, receptive, and genuinely curious to learn more about who we are, what we believe, and most importantly, what we have in common.
Many of our conversations have revealed a shared desire for purpose, family, justice, compassion, and a connection with our Creator. These moments remind us that dawah is not simply about speaking, it's about listening, building bridges, and fostering meaningful human connections.
Every conversation, every brochure, and every Quran distributed is an opportunity to plant a seed that may one day flourish by the permission of Allah.

We kicked off our dawah efforts in Guadalajara, Jalisco on game day.
The plaza was packed, and the Mexican fans were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and eager to meet us. Throughout the day, we engaged in meaningful conversations, distributed Islamic literature, and answered questions about Islam.
One of those conversations was between Imam Muhammad Idrissi and Andrea. What began as a simple discussion turned into a heartfelt conversation that lasted well over an hour. Andrea listened attentively, asked sincere questions, and reflected deeply on the message of Islam.
Alhamdulillah, by the end of their conversation, Andrea decided to embrace Islam and recited her Shahada.
The second Shahada of this trip. Allahu Akbar!
Moments like these remind us why we travel, why we stand for hours in the heat, and why we continue these conversations. Every interaction is an opportunity to share the beauty of Islam and invite others to learn about their Creator.
