My name is Greg Guithues. I live in Ocean View, HI on the Big Island. I am running for Congress. Hawaii's second congressional district. I'm primarying the incumbent because I don't think she is doing enough to remove the scourge of fascism from our government. That will be my job-1. I will beat the Impeachment Drum loudly. Trump has been in office over a year. If the "blue wave" doesn't occur this November in both the House and Senate, we'll be in bad shape with the existing Democratic Party leadership and rank-and-file representatives. I think my message will resonate.
I've been expecting my representative to be more active in her constitutional responsibility of removing the bad president. Maybe she's waiting for instructions from the party establishment.
A few representatives have submitted articles of impeachment but Democratic Party Leadership seems to not be part of the solution. Wait and pray for the midterms seems to be the tactic.
I'm not ok with that. If the Blue Wave doesn't happen we will need people like me to make noise until he's gone.
