Spring Equinox: A Season of Becoming

Today marks a quiet yet powerful turning point—the Spring Equinox. A moment where light and dark stand in perfect balance, reminding us that harmony is always available, even in the midst of change.

This is the season of genesis.
The soft beginning.
The gentle return to self.

Spring doesn’t rush… it unfolds. And so can you.

With every new sunrise, you are offered a fresh beginning. A chance to release what feels heavy and step forward with intention. Just as the earth awakens—buds forming, colours returning, warmth rising—you too are invited into your own renewal.

Physically, this is your time to move, to stretch, to nourish your body with care and vitality.
Mentally, it is a season to clear, to refocus, to choose thoughts that support your growth.
Emotionally, it offers permission to soften, to feel, to open your heart again.
Spiritually, it calls you home—to alignment, to purpose, to the quiet knowing within.

Spring is not just a change in season.
It is a reminder that transformation is natural.
That beginnings are always available.
That you are allowed to evolve.

Every day is your equinox.
A balance. A reset. A rebirth.

Step into this season with intention.
Choose what you want to grow.
Choose what you are ready to release.
Choose you.

And let this be the season where everything begins again. ✨

A Perfect Evening with Friends, Great Food & Simple Joys | A Moment With Us

Tonight was a beautiful reminder of how meaningful simple moments can be.

We walked across the street to spend the evening with Connie and Megan, who hosted us so graciously. The warm atmosphere, wonderful conversation, and shared laughter made the night truly special.

We enjoyed delicious non-alcoholic Caesars, followed by an incredible lobster linguine and fresh house salad. The meal was comforting, flavourful, and felt like such a treat.

After dinner, we strolled home under sunny skies, reflecting on how lovely the day had been. It’s March Break Friday, the weather was gorgeous, the book nook is finally complete, and our hearts are full.

Evenings like this remind us to slow down and appreciate life’s simple joys.

Why Most Women Buy the Wrong Colours (Not the Wrong Clothes)

If your closet is full but you still feel like you have nothing to wear, this is why.

Most women are not choosing the wrong garments.

They are choosing colours that don’t harmonize with their natural undertone, depth, and contrast.

In this video, I explain:
• Why colour affects how healthy and energized you appear
• How undertone changes everything
• Why random shopping creates wardrobe confusion
• How building a personal palette simplifies your life

When your colours align:
You look brighter.
You feel more confident.
Everything mixes effortlessly.

You don’t need more clothes.

You need clarity.

If you’re ready to discover what truly harmonizes with you, write “COLOUR” in the comments or reach out directly.

Style Is Structure, Not Luck | Build a Strategic Wardrobe That Supports Leadership

This month I’ve been sharing daily colour stories and outfit logic — but today I want to go deeper.

What you’re seeing in those videos isn’t just “a nice outfit.”

It’s structure.

Most wardrobes fail for the same reason many strategies fail — there was never a framework behind them. Random purchases. No defined palette. No cohesion. No repeatable system.

And the result?

Decision fatigue before your workday even begins.

A strategic wardrobe includes:

• A defined colour palette that supports your natural colouring
• Internal columns of colour that create vertical authority
• Complementary accents for intentional impact
• Texture balance for depth and sophistication
• Quality fibres that hold shape and communicate polish

This is not about fashion trends.

It’s about operational efficiency.

In leadership, in governance, in finance — we build systems first. We align resources. We remove friction. We create clarity.

Your wardrobe should do the same.

When your colours belong to the same story, dressing becomes effortless.
When your silhouette aligns with your structure, your confidence becomes consistent.
When your palette is intentional, your presence becomes recognizable.

Structure creates freedom.

If you are ready to harmonize your colour and build a wardrobe that supports your leadership and lifestyle, visit Chic Image Consulting.

A Cozy City Errand Day | Bookstore Hunt & Lunch Out

Today we’re heading into Moncton for a relaxed day — groceries at Costco, lunch at Swiss Chalet, and a stop at Chapters to find our next book club read. We just finished Behind Her Eyes and I’m hoping to pick up I Who Have Not Known Men. Sometimes the most ordinary days turn into the nicest ones.

Why Your Closet Feels Full But You Still Have Nothing To Wear

You probably don’t have a clothing shortage.

You have a colour disconnect.

Most wardrobes were never created as a system. Pieces were purchased individually — different undertones, different moods, different seasons of life — and placed into the same closet.

So every morning becomes decision-making.

When your colours finally align, dressing stops feeling like effort and starts feeling natural.

Clarity creates ease.
Ease creates confidence.

Why Your Closet Doesn’t Work (And It’s Not the Clothes)

Most people believe they need more clothing to feel put together.

In reality, the issue is uncertainty — choosing colours, silhouettes, and trends without a system. Over time, this creates a wardrobe of good pieces that never function together.

Personal style improves when decisions become intentional instead of emotional.

Colour creates harmony.
Fit creates proportion.
Lifestyle creates practicality.
Personality creates credibility.

When these align, dressing becomes simple and confidence becomes consistent.

You don’t need more clothes.
You need a clearer strategy.

Why Knowing Your Colour Palette Changes Everything | Wardrobe Longevity & Confidence

Your image is about more than clothing. It’s about dressing for your silhouette, your lifestyle, your personality — and most importantly, your colouring.

Before people know their colour palette, they often invest in what I call orphan clothing: pieces that don’t fit properly, don’t flatter their colouring, and don’t belong to any cohesive wardrobe story. These purchases create clutter, guilt, and confusion.

Not everyone needs a little black dress. Black belongs to the Winter palette, and universal fashion rules don’t apply when they don’t apply to you.

When you know your colours, your wardrobe gains clarity, longevity, and purpose. You shop intentionally, edit responsibly, and dress every day feeling healthy, confident, and powerful.
