I woke up this morning from a nightmare about being in They Follow. So I had to search to see if there were any developments on this sequel, and turns out, there are. Filming is set to begin this year, and not only is Maika Monroe back, but so is the cinematographer, the editor, and Disasterpeace to do the score again. Ooh, I'm ready for the sequel to haunt me like It Follows has.
Also, let's just say one moment in my dream had me exclaiming, "They run now!"

I knew I couldn't miss seeing Ashley Eckstein again at Washington Summer Con. She goes out of her way to get to know her fans, even if just for a moment. She has said, "Once we've had the chance to meet, I consider us friends." Indeed, she remembered me from two years ago. And as I'm currently going through something slightly similar to what Ahsoka faced with the Jedi council, I filled her in on what's been going on since we last met, and let her know that her weekly mental health vlogs have helped me get by.

I grudgingly sat down and watched Toy Story 4 for the first time since the theater. And doing so just brought back every single bad feeling I had as I drove home that night. On top of that, even the few parts that I originally gave a pass to like Gabby and Bo Peep are worse than I remembered.
I know Toy Story 5 is primarily Jessie's story, but can we at least get some form of course correction for Woody? Where he ends up in the end will be the make-or-break.
