Grateful would be an understatement 🥺

Lisa did something so beautiful this week… she started her catering business, and I’m so proud of her.

It literally started from just an idea… and our family came together to support it, push her, and help bring it to life. She stepped out and started by selling dinners right here in our community… and yesterday was her first day, and it was a success 43 orders! 🎉

Seeing people show up, order, and support her the way they did… it meant everything.

Now that she’s completed her Culinary Arts program in school and has all of her certifications in place, it just feels different. Like she’s really stepping into what God has already been preparing her for.🫶🏾

I know this is just the beginning.

The sky is not the limit for her… God is.

Chef Lisa is just getting started and tomorrow she's selling SUNDAY DINNERS!🎉

I’ve been quiet this past week… because day trading is something I used to think about…
something I’d tell myself I wanted to learn “one day.”

And for the past couple of weeks, I’ve actually been doing it.

Imperfectly.
Learning as I go.
But showing up for it anyway.

I had my head down, locked in.

Focused on my goals.
Focused on my discipline.
Focused on becoming the woman I keep saying I want to be.

And I’m proud of myself.🙌🏾

Not just because of the wins (and yes… this was my second 5 figure week in a row🥹),
but because even when I took losses, I didn’t let them take me out.

I didn’t quit.
I didn’t get discouraged.
I stayed committed.

I learned.
I adjusted.
I kept going.

And that built something in me that money can’t touch… confidence.

The kind of confidence that says:
I can do this.
I will figure it out.
My family is covered because I’m showing up.💯

This week stretched me in a new way.
Learning something new, stepping into unfamiliar territory, and still showing up every day like it’s mine.

And to see it actually come together…
to see the results match the effort…
that did something to me.

To every mother who feels like she’s been pouring into everyone else…

You are still capable.
You are still allowed to go after more.
And it’s not too late for you.

So Iet me know…

How many of y’all have been thinking about how to level up for your family with day trading… but haven’t broke the code yet?

I'm proof that you can do it right where you are, all you need is faith the size of a mustard seed. 💯

Last night we had our first HerHood mentorship session and it was so powerful.🙌🏾
Women opened up about accountability, marriage dynamics, and learning how to pour back into themselves.
I just sent the first HerHood newsletter to our members today.🫶🏾
If you’ve been thinking about joining, you can still join us for the remaining sessions this month.

Today is International Women’s Day, and when I look back at these moments… I see more than photos. I see a journey.🥺

I see a young woman who didn’t have everything figured out.
A woman who made mistakes, learned hard lessons, and kept getting back up anyway.

I see the woman who became a wife.
The woman who became a mother.
The woman who carried life in her body again and again, learning that strength doesn’t always look loud… sometimes it looks like sacrifice.

I see the woman who had seasons where she poured into everyone else and almost forgot about herself.

But I also see the woman God was building the entire time.

A woman learning to speak up.
A woman learning to rest.
A woman learning that her worth was never tied to perfection.

Just growth.

To the women who are tired.
To the women rebuilding.
To the women praying for better days.
To the mothers, the dreamers, the healers, the ones breaking generational cycles…

You are stronger than you think.

Your story matters.
Your voice matters.
And the woman you are becoming is worth every hard chapter it took to get here.

Happy International Women’s Day.

Keep becoming her.

Trust me, life moves fast when you’re mothering.💯
These aren’t perfect posed photos, they’re real ones. And I already know these are the pictures I’ll cherish one day when I’m older, looking back on these precious moments with my 4 littles under 4.🥰

Let this be your sign to document as much as you can. While it’s their childhood, you’re still growing into yourself too and remember motherhood isn’t measured by perfection, but by how present you showed up.

The Henry Family

Five years ago on Christmas Day, we stood together with nothing but a dream and a prayer. We had five children, big vision, and faith that felt louder than our circumstances. I remember looking in the mirror back then and seeing possibility. I remember looking around our life and seeing seeds.

Today, I looked at that 2020 photo and at first felt sad. I was smaller. Life looked simpler. I didn’t have the weight of motherhood on me like I do now. But God reminded me… don’t mourn who you were, celebrate who you’ve become. Don’t idolize a former version of yourself. Honor the woman who kept going and walked her way into the answered prayers you’re living in today.

Because the truth is, I prayed for this life. I prayed to grow our family. I prayed for a home like the one we’re in. I prayed to build something from content creation. I prayed to live a life that looked like the one God whispered to me in secret. And even on the days I doubted myself, He never doubted the plan.

So here we are. Not perfect. Not without flaws. Not without battles. But living inside the promises that used to only be dreams. If God did it before, He can do it again. If He started it, He is faithful to finish it.

This is for me and for anyone reading this: don’t rush the process God is using to build you. Don’t despise small beginnings. Don’t idolize former versions of yourself. You haven’t missed anything. You are not behind. You are becoming who you prayed to be.

“Now unto Him who is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask or think.” Ephesians 3:20

Nope! Y’all these aren’t perfect and neither are we!😮‍💨
But faith was never about perfection anyway.

Faith is about doing what feels right before God, even when it doesn’t look right to everyone else. This photoshoot almost took me out! But it also reminded me that there are seasons where Christ grows you quietly, privately, and deeply, and those seasons don’t always make sense from the outside looking in. We’ve learned that faith isn’t about performing for people or living up to anyone else’s expectations, but about listening closely to God and following Him with an honest heart.🙌🏾

Obedience doesn’t look the same in every season, and sometimes growth means revisiting decisions with new understanding, prayer, and grace. What stays the same is our commitment to keeping Christ at the center of our home, our marriage, and the way we raise our children. That foundation is non-negotiable for us.

This house represents answered prayers, fresh starts, and the reminder that joy and reverence can exist in the same space. It’s a place where laughter is loud, love is intentional, and memories are being made in real time — even when everything isn’t perfectly posed. Faith has taught us that unity matters, peace matters, and walking in freedom matters more than appearances.

We’re learning to hold our convictions with humility and grace, trusting that God meets every family exactly where they are. And if you’re in a season of questioning, growing, or figuring things out as you go, know that God is patient with your process too. You don’t have to have it all figured out to be walking faithfully. Grateful for this season, for our family, and for a God who continues to lead us with patience, compassion, and truth.

Happy Thanksgiving from The Henrys 2025 edition.🫶🏾

This year we spent Thanksgiving at @Disney Magic Kingdom. Five years ago I lost my father on Thanksgiving in 2020, and this week Antwan lost his grandmother🥺 so we needed something different this year. We needed something to help us keep going, to remind us that joy still exists even in the middle of grief, and Disney felt like the place to breathe again.

And let me tell you something, taking 9 children to Magic Kingdom was bold. We knew it was going to be a challenge, but God gave us GRACE because baaabyyyy 🤣. What the saints say? “If it had not been the good Lord on our side!” Whew 😮‍💨. I digress. lol.

But it was absolutely magical… maybe even more magical than I remembered.🥺 We created memories we didn’t even know our hearts needed. Watching our kids laugh, run, hug characters, and look up at the fireworks like the whole world paused, it healed places in me I didn’t realize were still hurting.

Side note… I think I may have started a new trend because the way people stopped us over these matching Christmas pajamas?? Disney wasn’t ready. 😂

And I can’t believe I’m saying this… but we didn’t want to leave. lol. We might just make Disney our new Thanksgiving tradition because this did WAY more for our hearts than a turkey dinner ever could.🙌🏾

To everyone reading this, I pray you enjoyed your Thanksgiving with the people you love, and if this season has been heavy for you the way it’s been heavy for us, I pray God meets you with joy right in the middle of it.

…And this is what life looks like with 4 under 3.🥹
Now that the older ones are at school, I get to soak up my days with my last four… my little fall crew who keep me smiling, hollering, laughing, and grounded in what truly matters.🙌🏾

Motherhood has taught me that every season has its own beauty. Right now, mine looks like routines, naptimes, sticky fingers, matching dresses, and moments that remind me how quickly time moves — and why it’s so important to slow down and cherish it all. 🤎 Even if we don’t go anywhere, I try to stay intentional in getting everyone dressed for the day. It truly has helped the chaos a little or maybe it’s just in my head.🤭

Here’s to finding joy in the simple, sacred, everyday moments. 🍁✨
