A few years ago, I would have described my travels by the countries I visited.
Today, I remember them by what they revealed.
My newest film, Beyond the Lion City | Where I Found Singapore’s Soul, begins with Singapore’s iconic skyline. But somewhere along the way, I found myself drawn into a rainforest instead.
It reminded me of something I’d almost forgotten.
As a child growing up in Tahiti, I spent countless hours climbing trees, wandering through mountain forests, and disappearing into nature with a book in my hands. Looking back, I realize those quiet moments shaped the way I experience the world today.
This film isn’t about escaping the city.
It’s about recognizing that every destination awakens something different within us.
I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who’s been following this journey. With more than 10,000 subscribers now walking alongside me, I’m excited to keep creating films that explore not only beautiful places, but the stories we discover within them.
