Yes Asiana airlines is shutting down. Asiana Airlines is not shutting down in the sense of a bankruptcy or collapse; rather, it is being fully absorbed into its rival, Korean Air. The Asiana brand will officially disappear on December 17, 2026, when its operations, assets, and personnel are completely folded into a single enlarged flag carrier.

Sad news 😔
On May 4, 2026, a small plane crashed shortly after takeoff in Belo Horizonte. The aircraft went down into a residential building just minutes after leaving the airport.
There were five people on board. Three people, including the pilot and co-pilot, were killed, while the remaining passengers were injured and taken to the hospital.
The crash also damaged a three-story building, but no one inside the building was killed.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
RIP to the victims 🙏
