Whisker Wednesday got a little more dramatic than expected over here. 😅 Wuji and Yoshi got a bit too curious in the cupboard and managed to knock a heavy ceramic bowl right onto cat mom’s finger. It’s swollen, turning impressive shades of purple, and definitely very sore! Willow is helping with purring comfort duty while mom sits with ice on it. 🧡🐾

Thankfully the finger should be okay, even if it’s currently throbbing and making every little bump feel extra rude. The cats, meanwhile, have already moved on emotionally from the incident. 😂

Happy Purrsday furriends! 😸🐾
This Memorial Day weekend we’re doing two special Holiday Edition livestreams on Friday AND Saturday at 7 PM Pacific with our big rescue cat family! 🇺🇸✨
We’ll be winding down the evening with rescue cat chaos, treats, toys, cuddles, zoomies, and a brand new five-in-one gadget that is almost guaranteed to create absolute chaos. 😂
Cat mom is also bringing out the special evening lights for extra cozy nighttime vibes. 🌙💡 We’re hoping the later stream time helps some of our East Coast furriends join us before bed, while some of our European furriends may even catch us with their morning coffee. ☕🐈 Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend everyone, and we hope to see you there furriends❣️

Vader returned again tonight. ❤️

He’s still in rough shape, but we’re starting to see some encouraging signs. He’s walking with a little more ease now, eating well, and he allowed me to pet him again tonight while he ate. He knows my voice, and the tappy tap of the food can, which I always do when feeding. It trains our cats to known it means food is here, in case I need to find a cat!

I also think the abscess near his shoulder may have finally ruptured and started draining, which could explain some of the improvement we’re seeing. He absolutely still needs medical help (big time) but for the first time, this feels like progress instead of just fear and uncertainty.

Most importantly, I think we’re building trust, and that matters a lot. I can’t rush this. If I move too fast and scare him, he could disappear again, and in his condition, that’s the last thing I want. So the plan right now is patience, food, consistency, and hopefully getting him comfortable enough to safely enter the trap soon.

Thank you to everyone who has been worrying about Vader along with us. I honestly wasn’t sure we would see him again so soon, but while I was out back watering, he walked right up to the back porch. I think he heard my voice and came looking for food. It’s a great sign that I might actually catch this poor beautiful baby! Seeing him come back tonight felt emotional in the best possible way. 🖤

Happy Caturday evening, furriends! 😸 Tonight’s livestream was a lot of fun, and the cats had an absolute blast testing out the new electric rolling toys… especially Bear, who apparently decided they belonged to him personally. 😂 He kept carrying the toys off into mysterious locations, and cat mom is still searching for one of them somewhere in the house.

Next Saturday at 2 PM Pacific, we’ll be Live again with a really wild new 5-in-1 cat toy featuring lasers, spinning strings, rolling balls with bells, and basically every possible form of feline chaos built into one machine. It has EVERYTHING. The real question is: will our crew take polite turns and share responsibly… or will this become complete goblin behavior within five minutes? We’ll find out!😸

Until then, we hope you all have a cozy, relaxing, and wonderful Caturday evening with your furriends too. 😻

Happy Furriday furriends! 😸💕
Join us for our next Livestream Saturday May 16th at 1 PM Pacific.
Come hang out with us for rescue cat chaos, cuddles, zoomies, treats, toys, and whoever decides to steal the show that day 😂 Tomorrow the Wujikitties are getting ready to review a brand new toy and enjoy some treats too! We’ll also be checking in on some of the cats who usually hide out during livestreams to see what surprises they have planned for us this time. Around here, we truly never know what’s going to happen 🐾

Last livestream, Jonesy completely surprised us with his amazing jumping and hunting skills while chasing the new bird toy. He had SO much fun! Herbie and Yoshi also went wild for the teaser toys, and tomorrow we’re adding catnip and bubbles into the mix… it’ll be an exciting time! 😸
