In late October of last year, I had a private conversation with poet, Olga Stein, who told me she ‘happens to be Jewish, and also cares for Israel (though she abhors any violence to non-Jews in Israel proper and in WB and Gaza).’
When I shared with her poems I’d been writing after October 7th, she suggested my poems become a dialogue with hers.
Below, is the fruit of our small peace effort : a conversation in verse, featured in WordCity Literary Journal, a Canadian journal founded on the values of promoting diversity, dialogue, acceptance and cultural exchange.
