Bitterness Is A Poison
Never let bitterness creep into your heart.
When you do, you are giving your power to it, and it causes you to live in darkness.
You must not allow situations, challenges or people bring you down to a level that is not liking to God’s standards.
What you have to do is use the situation or the people as an example of how not to behave, and be grateful that you are nothing like them.
Know that when you are bitter about one issue it can gradually seep into every issue, every area, every relationship. It cannot be contained. Its poisonous spread is toxic and devastating.
Bitterness can be so corruptive to you and those around you. It divides, and devastates; it damages and destroys.
Understand that there is an intrinsic nature to bitterness. When you let bitterness in, it is-like someone with a cup of poison.
And, I do not want that for you. You have such a POWERFUL PURPOSE in this world.
So, don’t let bitterness take hold of you, because it can do such damage, make you hard, defensive, and steal your power of all the good you need to do in this world.
Now, stay sweet, stay humbled, and keep your eyes on the prizes that God has in store for you.
