This SEP-2025, the MoHA revoked the FCRA license of Sonam Wangchuck’s NGO, SECMOL, citing multiple violations amid unrest in Ladakh linked to protests for statehood.

As per FCRA provisions, based on certain grounds that Ministry have power of revoke License temporally and permanently.

Allegation on the Mr Wangchuck’s leads NGOs are poor record keeping and national sovereignty.

Hi Friends,

I recently had the opportunity to serve as an observer during the CA examinations for the very first time.
Initially, I applied for this role as a means of earning some additional income; however, I quickly learned that the position of an observer is far more significant than I had anticipated.
Let me explain how.

I already completed two days of duty, both were during the CA final exams—one in Advanced Financial Management and the other in Direct and International Taxation.
Throughout the experience, I found myself resonating with the CA students around me. As someone who understands the value of every minute, I was committed to ensuring that the examination center functioned smoothly, particularly regarding the timely distribution of answer sheets, allowing for that crucial 15-minute window.

My role was crucial in maintaining integrity and fairness during the exams. I ensured that no unfair means were utilized by students and that the exam center adhered to best practices. This included monitoring adherence to the ICAI guidelines regarding essential facilities like lighting, fans, and access to drinking water.

Additionally, I coordinated closely with the center in-charge and the Examination Department, ready to address any situations that required immediate attention.

This experience not only underscored the responsibilities involved in overseeing such an important event but also deepened my appreciation for the values of transparency and fairness in the examination process.
