Today, I had the honor of receiving Mr. Solomon Makau Musymi, President of Care for a Child’s Heart (CFACH) and a U.S.-based attorney from Houston, Texas, who paid me a courtesy call alongside Madam Nicole Sagarra, a senior nurse based in Houston, Texas, anesthesia consultant Vogan Stevens, and Dr. Joseph Mutie, a neurosurgeon at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH), who recently led the team that successfully performed Kenya's first minimally invasive esophageal surgery.
I am deeply grateful to Care for a Child’s Heart (CFACH) for their generous donation of two containers of lifesaving medical equipment, including modern hospital beds, laboratory equipment, X-ray and MRI machines, which are currently at the Port of Mombasa awaiting clearance.
This remarkable act of generosity will go a long way in strengthening healthcare services and saving countless lives, especially children living with congenital heart disease and other vulnerable patients. On behalf of all the beneficiaries, I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the entire CFACH team for their compassion, partnership, and unwavering commitment to improving healthcare in Kenya. May God richly bless you.

To all party members, please be careful. Do not send money to anyone claiming to be collecting funds on behalf of the party or promising you a position. Do not fall into that trap.
No position in this party is for sale. Any position will be given through the proper party processes, not through payments.
We also appeal to anyone who has previously been asked to send M-PESA money to any party staff or official in exchange for a position to forward those messages and any supporting evidence to the numbers provided. Please report the matter at the nearest police station and share the report with us. Upon verification, we shall refund your money and take appropriate action against those involved.

UTUMISHI ACADEMY SURVIVORS: TWO STUDENTS RE-ADMITTED FOR SURGERY
Today, the injured Utumishi Academy students returned for medical reviews. While many are steadily recovering, two Grade 10 students, Barbra Cheptoo and Violet Melissa Mukeira, have been re-admitted and will undergo surgery in the coming days. We pray for God's healing and strength upon them.
After the reviews, I spent time with the students and their parents, sharing a meal, listening to their pain, fears, and hopes. We also shopped for the students and provided both the children and their parents with upkeep money to help ease their burden during this difficult period.
The high medical bills remain a major concern. I raised the matter with Dr. Patrick Amoth Director General health, who assured us that the government will address it as promised. I also engaged Education CS Julius Ogamba regarding injured Form Four candidates, and we received positive assurance that online classes will begin next week. (Videos loading shortly)
Students from nearby areas such as Ngong, Kikuyu, Kajiado, Mulolongo, and Redhill were safely dropped at their homes. Those who travelled from distant places, including Narok, Nakuru, and other parts of the country, are spending the night under our care due to exhaustion. Tomorrow morning, we will facilitate their journey back home.
These children have suffered unimaginable pain, yet they continue to fight with courage. We will continue standing with them and their families every step of the way.
May God wipe away their tears, heal their wounds, and restore their dreams.

Earlier today, the second deceased victim of the Utumishi Academy fire tragedy was transported by my team from PNN Mortuary in Gilgil to Chokereria, Olkalau for burial.
The late Cecilia Wanjiku had initially escaped the burning dormitory safely and without injury. However, in an extraordinary act of courage, she chose to go back inside in an attempt to rescue fellow students who were still trapped by the raging fire. Tragically, she never made it back out.
To support the family during this difficult moment, my team provided two buses, a mobile clinic bus with 12 nurses, and a VIP glass hearse to transport her body with dignity and honor.
Her burial ceremony is currently ongoing, and we shall continue to provide updates.
May the Lord grant Cecilia eternal rest and bring comfort to her family, friends, classmates, and all those affected by this heartbreaking tragedy.
As we mourn, let us remember that humanitarian work is a sacred responsibility. We do not play politics with people's pain, suffering, or tragedies. Our focus remains on compassion, service, and standing with those in need during their darkest moments.
May her soul rest in eternal peace. This tribute honors both her bravery and the support being provided to the family.

FIRST OF THE 16 BODIES OF UTUMISHI ACADEMY STUDENTS RELEASED FOR BURIAL
Today, the first of the 16 students who tragically lost their lives in the Utumishi Girls Academy fire has been released to her family.
The body of the late Zuhura Rama was handed over to her father, Rama Higa, and relatives at Naivasha Mortuary before being transported to Coptic Hospital Mortuary, where it was prepared in accordance with Islamic rites and thereafter airlifted to Mombasa. Upon arrival, she will be transported to Ukunda, where she will be laid to rest tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. at Mkwakwani Village, Ukunda Ward, Msambweni.
To give our beloved Zuhura the farewell she deserves, we have reserved flight tickets for her classmates who wish to attend her burial. The flight will depart JKIA at 9:40 a.m., with the return journey by SGR VIP due to limited flight availability tomorrow. Students wishing to attend are kindly requested to liaise with their parents and contact us on 0790125965 immediately.
As the painful goodbyes begin, our hearts remain with Zuhura's family, friends, and all those affected by this tragedy. No parent should have to bury a child, and no child should have to mourn a friend from afar. May Allah grant Zuhura Jannatul Firdaus and give strength, comfort, and peace to all who mourn her.

Today, I visited the students admitted at Kenyatta National Hospital following the tragic fire that claimed the lives of 16 girls at Utumishi Girls Academy in Gilgil.
My heart broke as I listened to their painful stories and saw the injuries they sustained while fighting to escape the flames. Despite the trauma they have endured, I thank God that most of them are now out of danger and recovering well.
To encourage them and show them they are not alone, I brought flowers and a few essential items as a small gesture of love and support.
My prayers remain with all the injured students and their families. My deepest condolences go to the families who lost their daughters in this heartbreaking tragedy. May God grant them strength, comfort, and healing during this difficult time.
