Computer mice don't last forever - I found that out when my old one stopped working properly. The scroll wheel in particular can get very gnarly (dirt and loose internals can cause that) so I took a good look on Amazon to find a replacement.
The one I chose looks really cool (how shallow am I?) and is rechargeable and connects to 3 different devices. Great if you have multiple machines you work on like me.
It has 2 Bluetooth connections and a 2.4g wireless connection - I hate wires so that's great for me.
I like it so much I made a 45 second video about it.
Well, I ordered the DJI Neo as soon as it was available in the UK. And yesterday I took it out for a first flight (didn't read the manual much) to test the obstacle avoidance.
I was very nervous about it, especially towards the end of the flight, but I'm impressed with this little drone and SO glad I got it.
Hopefully I'll build up my confidence as I use it more - I have some ideas for a future channel that will involve the drone filming me as I walk part of the Pennine Way (a local part!) and ... well, what I'll be doing isn't totally nailed down yet, but I'll definitely need a drone to film me autonomously. Fortunately I can record dialogue using my phone and it gets added to the drone footage - very cool.
Take a look at the video, if you have a few minutes to spare.
I'm really amazed at just how long the Osmo Nano can film before overheating - of course it depends on the temperature where you are, but I managed a very respectable time of...well, watch the short to find out!
Finding time to run a YouTube channel has been really difficult over the last few years. And YouTube itself has changed so different types of content now work compared to before.
I still have a lot to share and hopefully I’ll be able to start creating more videos as we head into 2026.
Feel free to suggest any particular videos that might interest you!
Have you been following the heated debates about the Lumix S9 from Panasonic? Some YouTubers are making out that this is a watershed moment in camera reviewing. I had to jump on this bandwagon and publish my own views and I've been getting a lot of feedback about the video.
Take a look and let me know what YOU think. Is this all a storm in a teacup? Is it all a justified rant? Are camera reviewers shills? Are some YouTubers suffering from sour grapes?
This is the final call for my giveaway of a PGYTech camera card case to one lucky commenter (US and UK only, sorry) and the giveaway ends 31st May 2024 (just a couple of days from now!)
So take a look at the video, leave a comment and you'll be in with a chance of winning. Remember, I can only ship it to US or UK so if you live anywhere outside those two countries I'm sorry, but you won't be eligible.

I'll add a link here to the video for you.

DJI just released yet another firmware update for the fabulous Osmo Pocket 3. Honestly, I love that little camera and I've started using it for product review videos. It's SO easy to use. The new firmware promises some autofocus improvements and while it's already excellent, even better never hurts, right?
So of course I updated as soon as I found out about the latest release and I recorded just how easy it is to do using the Mimo app. If you've never updated your Osmo Pocket 3 firmware you really should think about it. It's fast and simple.
Take a look at my latest video to see just how simple!

I recently bought the little DJI Osmo Nano - personally I'm loving it. No, it's not ideal for long form video, but I'm not going to use it for that!
So easy to use, this little thing is great and I'm seriously considering getting a second one.
What do you think of it? Would you use it for vlogging?
