🔥UK heatwave update – my pond is the lowest it’s ever been!
The recent heatwave has been intense. With barely any rain and temperatures over 30°C here in the UK, even my deep wildlife pond is struggling.

📣 Linnet update! Sadly, it seems the Linnet’s have now abandoned their nest. There are a few potential reasons for this, with the most likely being the eggs were simply never fertile to begin with. There's still time for the birds to have a second attempt this year, but it's unlikely for them to return to the same nest. So, the livestream is no longer available for now.
Thank you to those who supported (and for the patience on the technical issues!). I plan to have similar streams in the future so be sure to stay tuned.

I’ve got a Linnet nesting in my garden, and I’ve set up a live steam so we can watch her journey together - from nest-building, to (hopefully) chicks hatching!
