I reviewed 47 SaaS product demo videos over the past month.
Most demos are structured like feature tours instead of buyer stories.
The highest-performing demos do 5 things differently:

âś… Build tension before showing the product
✅ Use the customer’s exact language

âś… Change visuals every few seconds to maintain momentum
One sentence completely changed how I think about SaaS demo videos:
“People buy clarity before they buy software.”

The problem usually isn’t the product.
