This month I’m busy with my college tests, so I won’t be have proper time to editing. It’s not that I didn’t work on anything — I actually completed an edit, but the render time was showing 136 hours, which is simply not practical. With that kind of limitation, it’s not possible to maintain quality and consistency.
So for this month, I’ll be uploading only sample edits. Next month, I’m planning to upgrade my setup. After that, you can expect high-quality, insane edits and detailed tutorials regularly.
First of all, I want to clarify that I am not Fictic. I know very well that Fictic is currently one of the world’s best movie editors. I am not a movie editor yet—I enjoy creating my own videos because my goal is to become a filmmaker.
Right now, I am still learning the fundamentals: how to take proper shots, lighting, color grading, camera angles, camera movements, visuals, and many other aspects of filmmaking. I don’t understand why some people compare my work with others, especially in editing.
For context, Fictic works on a high-end PC, while I edit on a low-end system. In such situations, comparison doesn’t really make sense.
Lastly, if anything I’ve said has offended anyone, I sincerely apologize.
