Voices Against Death

Voices Against Death is a channel where we believe all life is precious and worth protecting.
Our mission is to speak out against the death penalty and see it banned worldwide, reminding the world that every life is sacred — even the life of the guilty.
Through stories, Scripture, and heartfelt messages, we call out evil and stand for justice. Every voice matters — and together, we can make a difference.
It’s time to put this injustice to death once and for all!

Exodus 20:13 — “You shall not murder.”

Ezekiel 33:11 — “As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live.”

Voices Against Death

Happy Easter, and let's rejoice because Jesus is alive and we can live because of him.
Easter is about love and life.
And I hope that more of God's people will remember why we celebrate Easter to begin with and remember what Jesus said,
This is why this channel Voices Against Death speaks the same truth Jesus spoke all those years ago.

Our precious Jesus was executed and just like him many other people both guilty and innocent have also been executed.
But unlike him they will not come back.😞
That's why the mission of this channel is it make people aware of what Jesus told us about human life and how he was wrongfully executed. I hope more of his people will soon remember what he said and that he died for the guilty and innocent. And I believe if he had to he would do it again for every human being on earth, both innocent and guilty.❤️

Voices Against Death

On this channel we are trying to make awareness of why the death penalty needs to be banned worldwide.
And bit by bit we know it is dying.
And one day it will be dead.
But until then let's do what we can to slow it down until that wonderful day comes when the death penalty will be put to death once and for all! And here is a petition asking to save the life of a human being.
Please read this petition and sign so this human being made in the image of God will live and not die.
Thank you

Voices Against Death

Anyone who sees this let's pray for the people on death row and their loved ones.
Let's pray for marcy. There's a person I read about who's about to be killed though the law in a few days and I'm asking for anyone who believes in life and that God doesn't want the evil people to die. Even more so though the hands of another person. Because when you take the bages, records, the power away you see that we're all human deep down and no one is above the other. So I'm asking for you all to pray for the guilty person and the families they hurt and for the guilty person loved ones as well. Let's fight for life children of God! 🙏💪

Voices Against Death

Here’s a list of verses that really bring out how life and judgment belong to God alone, not to people or governments:
And also how full of marcy God is, and how he's not just a god of justice but a god of mercy.

1. God alone has the power over life and death

“See now that I myself am He! There is no god besides me. I put to death and I bring to life, I have wounded and I will heal, and no one can deliver out of my hand.” — Deuteronomy 32:39

2. Vengeance belongs to God, not us

“It is mine to avenge; I will repay. In due time their foot will slip; their day of disaster is near and their doom rushes upon them.” — Deuteronomy 32:35

“Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’ says the Lord.” — Romans 12:19

3. Human justice can be flawed, but God’s is perfect

“Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?” — Genesis 18:25

“He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.” — Psalm 37:6

4. God protects children especially

“See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.” — Matthew 18:10

“Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.” — Matthew 18:6

5. Murder is forbidden — no exceptions for convenience

“You shall not murder.” — Exodus 20:13

“Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him.” — 1 John 3:15

These verses show that God claims the right to give and take life, and He doesn’t hand that role over to human courts. His justice may not always look quick, but it’s perfect, and no one escapes it.

However God is not only the Judge but also full of mercy, slow to anger, and overflowing with love. Here are some verses that show His mercy alongside His justice:

God’s mercy is greater than our sins

“The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.” — Psalm 103:8–10

Mercy triumphs over judgment

“Because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment.” — James 2:13

God desires mercy, not destruction

“For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings.” — Hosea 6:6

“For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent and live!” — Ezekiel 18:32

Jesus shows God’s mercy in action

“Neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.” — John 8:11

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8

So yes — God’s justice is real and perfect, but His mercy is so deep that He gives people chance after chance to turn back, even when they’ve done wrong.
And this is something that this broken world really needs to know.
And I'm so glad that I can be the one to share it with the world and with you.

Voices Against Death

God is not a God of death. I grieve the loss, but I stand for mercy — no more death penalties. Pray with me that mercy will win. 🙏

I heard they’re seeking the death penalty for the person who killed Charlie Kirk. I’m praying they won’t get it. He’s so young and not fully developed. I know what he did was wrong, but please God on high — have mercy. 🙏😭
Killing him won’t bring anyone back, and I’m praying Charlie’s family won’t ask for his life. This is heavy on my heart — please, someone, anyone, pray with me!!!
A life is at stake!! Please this is urgent!!!🙏🙏

Voices Against Death

You know, if the Bible says God is patient, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance, then why are Christians okay with the death of another person—even if that person did something horrible?

If we are supposed to be more like Jesus, then why are so many people okay with something that Jesus Himself said was wrong?

“You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’
But I say to you, do not resist the one who is evil.
If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.
…Love your enemies…” (Matthew 5:38–44)

And no, this is not talking about letting someone abuse you. Jesus didn’t erase justice—He fulfilled it by showing mercy and forgiveness as the ultimate way.

But things like:

Exodus 21:23–25: “Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot…”

Leviticus 24:19–20: Repeats that someone who injures another should receive the same injury.

Deuteronomy 19:21: “Life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth… do not show pity.”

…can make it sound like God wants the guilty to die. But He doesn’t. These were civil laws for a specific time period in Israel’s history.

God Himself said He takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked. So if God doesn’t, why should we? Why should we be okay with watching the law take a life? Why are we not bothered that people are being put down like a dog?

The truth about those verses:

They were limiting revenge. In ancient cultures, if someone knocked out your tooth, you might kill them. These laws kept punishment fair—only equal justice, no more.

They were for judges, not individuals. It wasn’t permission to gouge out eyes—it was legal guidance for courts.

They pointed to justice until mercy was revealed more fully in Christ.

When Jesus came, He fulfilled the Law. He didn’t throw it out, but He completed its purpose (Matthew 5:17). Now Christians live under the law of Christ: mercy, forgiveness, and love.

So, no—we don’t carry out “eye for eye” punishments.
We don’t celebrate death.
We learn from the principle of justice, but we live by mercy.

So christians, let’s stop thinking these verses make the death penalty okay. Because they don’t.
