Number 7 is not meant to be anything beautiful. It was stared at the retreat I went to and the instructor wanted us to use an old book and glue 3 pages together for every divider and make hinges out of book page. I just took a blank notebook to use, but found out rather quickly that it was going to use up a whole lot of glue and some of the book page hinges tore, so I came home and finished it with double sided scrapbook paper….kinds I really didn’t care for. This is much sturdier.

Here are the items I worked with this week. Tomorrow I will reveal what I turned them into.
I really appreciate the folks who subscribed. I’m not sure I figured out how to thank each person individually, but I do thank all of you.
If you don’t know me, here’s a couple of things I want to share:
1. My first post tells how I came about doing this “challenge.”
2. I make a lot of mini journals with my items because I donate them to Samaritan’s Purse to put in their Christmas Shoeboxes as fillers.
Hope you return tomorrow.

Here are my creations for this week. #1 (library cards) were rather thick and glossy, so I liked them better as substrates. #5 is a badge maker kit and they make interesting paper clips.

Little Judy

Since January 2026 I’ve been posting items on district.net which were inspired by Studioloo’s (Cindy’s) Tuesday Ten videos. She would take 10 items off her desk and reimagine them into junk journal ephemera. I started out with 12, but ended up finding that 8 kept me busy enough!
I post new items on Tuesday and the next Tuesday I post what I’ve turned them into. Most are made from thrifted items, junk or things I bought AGES ago!
BTW My current personal journal has a Beatles’ theme which is why they are featured on many items.
If this goes well, I’ll post some of my past ones.
