I always add calming music/binaural beats to power nap videos to help you relax, and also to help you know that you're still in the power nap time if you wake up (if you wake up and there's no music it might be a good idea to check what time it is!)

Do you ever feel like life is speeding up? Can you sense an acceleration that extends from the amount you try to get done in each day, to drive through fast food, to the volume of content that you consume, alongside communications that have shifted from letters, to faxes, to email, to instant messages, and online shopping that promises delivery of anything and everything within a day or two.
Constantly moving quickly can cause stress, anxiety and feelings of overwhelm, but just as concerning are the losses of depth and quality; depth of thought and understanding, and quality of communication, relationships, and the things we create.
Listening to books on 1.5x speed while driving encourages only a superficial understanding of the content being presented. Rushing through the day encourages shallower interactions with others, and affects the quality of our relationships. Trying to accomplish too much leaves less time for things that are truly important to us and, as a result, the quality of our creations and contributions suffer.
A solution can be found in the Italian term 'Tempo Giusto' (giusto is pronounced like the word 'just' with an 'o' on it!). This musical instruction, translated as 'in suitable time', encourages the performer to use their intuition and wisdom to set the pace of the piece.
Don't restrict this invitation to playing music!
The beauty of tempo giusto is that it's not a dogmatic instruction to slow down; if wisdom and intuition says 'go a little quicker' then do so, but when applied to family, hobbies, goals and obligations, you may find yourself choosing to go a little bit slower, even if that means doing less, so that you can focus on what's important, and prioritize depth and quality.
