Relational Lives

As relationship therapists we see so many couples leave it too late to get help and we don't want that to be you! Past trauma, neurodivergence, and relationship pain can chip away at what could otherwise be a thriving relationship. We, Ali and Ros, want to help you take back control and work towards building a healthy, lasting bond.

We are psychotherapists and on this channel we share real stories, explore complex dynamics, and have honest chats to help you build lasting connection.

We've seen it all in the therapy room and our lives! The intense pain of betrayals, the magic of reignited sparks, and how trauma and neurodivergence add their own twists on love. Together, we unpack what makes relationships thrive, without the jargon.

Subscribe to join our compassionate community to see what it really takes to thrive in love.

Relational Lives

Wow! The podcast has reached its 50 episode milestone!

We have decided to narrow our focus to be more about relationship difficulties, particularly where one or both partners have had difficult childhood experiences, but also where there have been hardships in the relationship.

If you or someone you know would like to pose a question or dilemma for us to speak about please use our anonymous link (you don't need to share name or contact info if you don't' want to).

You'll need some tissues beside you for this episode. Julie bravely shares her story of her son's life-limiting illness and how they navigated the last few months of his life. It's a reminder for us all to have good people around us and embrace life in whatever ways we can. We'd love to hear your thoughts on this deeply moving episode.

Relational Lives

Eight years ago, Rose was diagnosed with autism. At first, it was really hard for her to accept, but in this week's episode, she opens up about how she’s learned to embrace her individuality, manages the tougher moments, and celebrate her strengths. Remember, we are also on podcast platforms so if you haven't got the time to sit down and watch, pop your headphones on whilst walking, or put it on in the car. It's a great listen! Thank you Rose 🙏🏻

This week we're joined by Will Adolphy, psychotherapist and mentor, who shares his experience of getting pulled into the manosphere, what helped him step away from it, and why he’s passionate about speaking to young men and teens about it. Will’s honesty, wisdom, and perspective really stand out, and his story isn’t just valuable for guys—it’s something anyone affected by patriarchy and misogyny will get something from. #manosphererecovery #breakfreefromredpill #healthymasculity #malewisdom #mensmentalhealth

We've only been guests on one podcast so far and what an experience it was! Meeting Tom, Jack and the team from Shut Up I'm Talking was great, and thankfully after a year of them releasing episodes, we were remembered for best deep chat! We should hope so too 😅
