Happy 31st Anniversary Ace Combat! Sorry for the delayed celebration, I have been extremely occupied with my new part-time job and school, but I have some good news:
On July 18th I'll be attending an early testing of Ace Combat 8 in Osaka, I was not expecting to actually be considered for this opportunity despite being a Japanese resident, but here we are, Project Aces and Bandai Namco's Japanese branch have noticed me and I finally get an opportunity to not just try out the new game early but potentially interact with the developers.
If I am allowed to record anything or share photos, I will be more than happy to do so, you all deserve to see what Ace Combat 8 is going to be like!
I will admit though, things have been quite heavy lately, I admit that I've been very stressed out and worried about my future lately with how the vocational school has been going and how my life in Japan have been turning out to be, it's not easy I keep saying to myself and that it's better than what I've had to go through a few years back, and yet I still have doubts that I can survive here.
Regardless, I am thankful for each and every one of you for pushing me to go forward, I am sorry for the lack of content lately, I don't plan to give up on this channel, in fact I plan to resume content creation sooner or later and switch from just short content to long form in the hopes of meeting some War Thunder content creator criterias to get some new goodies to help me produce content.
Again, happy 31st Anniversary Ace Combat, and thank you all for helping me push forward!
As always, thank you for your continued support, and until next time, ありがとう戦友、またな。
20,000 subscribers achieved! What a milestone!
Thank you so, so much for your support, everyone! You have no idea how happy I am right now!
As you have probably noticed, there have been a significant slowdown in content created over the past few weeks, and it is not without reason.
The first one is that something has recently happened with YouTube shorts and the amount of exposure the shorts have been getting have been significantly reduced after the last successful short, and I'm aware others have had a similar experience. I have since then decided to try and go back into more regular longform content, and then produce some shorts from said content if possible. The primary reason however, is that I wanted to change my decal for a long time now, while I really like the current design, it is sadly not usable enough, its overall size and dimensions are uneven and it makes it difficult to place well on some vehicles, limiting its use. The new decal design I have fixes most of those problems, I will reveal it at a later time, once it can be changed...which to do, means I need to upload videos with more view consistency, and for that, shorts have proven to be unreliable, hence why I am going to give long form videos a try again.
The second reason is that after my explosive YouTube growth, one of my former employers contacted me and saw how my channel has been doing and wanted me to help him out with his own company remotely from Japan, and considering my difficult financial situation, between long term success and security, I made the decision to take the job offer, and so I did. It works well with my school life and doesn't hinder my studies, but it does come at the trade off of affecting my YouTube activity.
The final reason is that we're entering exam season and the summer vacation, I also have a Japanese Level Proficiency Test (JLPT) N2 exam coming up in July (Which let's be honest, with all the difficulties I've been through, I'm probably not gonna pass as I couldn't prepare well enough), and I've been trying my best overall to do well at the vocational school and prove myself in my new career path. I have not yet revealed to you all what I'm even studying...I plan to do so in the future as well, I'm just not sure yet how to go about it, I will have to think what's the best way to do all of this.
Once more everyone, thank you so much for helping me to reach 20,000 subs! It's an amazing achievement and I hope that despite everything, I may yet one day reach 100k or more subs, the journey is not yet over for us!
If you've made it this far, let me know in the comments, type "Yo buddy, still alive?" and make me proud!
As always, thank you for your continued support, and until next time, ありがとう戦友、またな。
