Gurus Astropalmistry

Bhrigu Nadi & Hasta Samudrik :::

I apply Bhrigu Nadi techniques only after I do the validation of the all the elements of the Rashi chart with the palm lines.

This essentially means that a Rashi chart's active components are mapped by studying the palm lines first and then interpreting these results with the help of available Bhrigu Nadi sutras.

As an example, I have attached palm + chart. The active components visible in the palm are compared to the chart.

Based on the palm line strength, signs / symbols of graha, depressions, orientation of lines and overall texture of the palm, one can clearly establish which Bhrigu Nadi combination is actually giving results.

In this palmchart, Mars is vakri (in fact, ATIVAKRA) in the chart. As a result, it not only has its 12th aspect on Saturn, but also connects with Moon. The proof : Kuja rekha sloping towards Moon. Result : Escalating Debt.
Note: there are 3 other reasons for debt burden.

Another example is Shadastaka placement between Sun and Saturn. The sign on the Sun mount is that of Shani. This shows that Sun mount / Sun has inimical aspects and it is due to 6 - 8 placement of Saturn from Sun. Result : Sun's karakatwa are damaged. Lack of support from father, trouble from authorities etc

I have mentioned around 11 points that link the chart placements with palm lines. You can study the palmchart and figure them out.

CHECKING BIRTHCHART & ACTIVATION OF GRAHA
The given birthchart has Guru-Mangal yoga, supposed to give very good results. Guru is LL and 4L. Mars is 5L and 12L. Guru rekha and Kuja rekha are very closeknit.

Being kendra - kona lords, this yuti is a Raja yoga. 10H is for profession / status / Father's wealth / Maraka house for father. But there is yoga bhanga. No benefits accrued as a result until now.

9H has swarashi Sun and 8L Moon. This forms amavasya dosha. You can see the indications for dosha in the palm. Father may encounter serious problems. Overall, native will find it hard to get recognition for his efforts.

The 3H has Swarashi Vakri Saturn. The Venus is 6L & 11L. The Saturn & Venus are in Trines. Venus is in 7H (not auspicious for male charts). The black line shows these very clearly. Native's brother has good statud. Mars --> Jupiter also shows good status for his brother.

The Guru Mangal yog has Ketu in its trines. The Guru rekha. The terminal point of Jivarekha shows this. Police / legal troubles will haunt this guy.

9H Sun and Moon gets Vakri Saturn's aspect. One can see it near the shani mandal (V shaped rekha).

Mars' strong aspect on Lagna + 4H + 5H and its yuti with Lagnesh Jupiter shows aggressive behaviour. You can see the bulge. In spite of negative aspects on others, Mars Mahadasha would give good results. This is because, later part of Kuja rekha seems reformed and there is a Vishnu rekha or Tirumala rekha (V shaped rekha) on Shani mandala.

Shani is bound by Rahu-Ketu

Total BLOCKADE of all Graha Karakatwa

Mars seems to be under Ketu's drishti

Female palm-chart shows a peculiar formation that indicates "total blockade" of all the graha karakatwa due to Rahu-Ketu.

Observe the two 'Y' SHAPED LINE FORMATIONS on Heartline (Jivarekha) and Kujarekha (headline).

Mars is at 29° in the chart. But in the palm, it is CLEARLY under the influence of Ketu.

Shani rekha is STOPPED or BOUND by Rahu- Ketu. This is seen in the palm. The Shani rekha is strong, straight and well marked until it reaches close to Kujarekha. After that it abruptly stops!

Native's life is a living hell. But after age 39, she'll come out of this nagapash.

TEMPLATE for ASTROPALMISTRY READING

Basic requirements:

1)Reading should be generally given for a 5 year period
2) Birth chart with corrected / adjusted Moon's longitudes
3) Two clear straight palm pictures taken under sunlight
->Ensure that thinnest possible lines are visible
->Ensure that deep skin folds or ridges are visible
4) Pics of finger prints including thumb prints

Setting up palm picture:::

1) palm lines should be time-stamped or ages marked clearly on each of the principal lines i.e Guru - Kuja - Shukra rekha on left as well as right palm.

2) For Shani rekha, one has to mark the ages using the 5 / 7 year method

3) Note the special symbols / signs visible in the palm.

4) Check the length, orientation and thickness of each line. Record divergences or abnormal features. Take ratios of lengths.

5) Measure the length of fingers, their orientation and lines - symbols on phalanges

6) Check the pattern on Right thumb for male and left for female. Carefully examine interfering lines, white patches on thumb as well as Yav sign on the boundary between 1st & 2nd phalange of thumb.

Birthchart :::

1) Degrees - Minutes of Moon need to be adjusted. This is a MUST because majority of charts are generated using different Aynamsha.

2) To determine the "Actual" Moon's longitudes in the palm, one needs to work on the mounts. Adjusting Moon's degrees-minutes is critical because the dasha-bhukti periods vary considerably when "actual" longitudes are used. One minute of Moon's longitude = 2.5 to 9 days!!

A client might tell you that his Shani - Ketu is active as per his chart. But you have to do the neccessary adjustments and determine the "Actual" dasha bhukti as per palm. In 90% of the cases, the dasha - bhukti sequence needs rectification.

3) At times, the client is unsure about the lagna i.e it could be a cusp. In such cases, one has to either determine the dominant graha in the palm OR manually calculate the lagna using lines on the Mercury mount OR counting vertical lines on Shani and doing proper mathematical calculations to reach the birth time. This is a painstaking process!!

4) Preferably, use the indigenous Southern Chart format. Mark the Progressed Jupiter - Saturn - Ketu positions on the rashis on the outer part of the squares. Mark the Nadi Dasha - Bhukti calculated as per (2) in the inner part. Gochar should be written alongside dasha - bhukti.

5) Do NOT MIX Parashara paddhati techniques with Nadi techniques when examining a palmchart. Nadi concepts differ from traditional Vedic techniques. For instance, the placement of Shukra, ownership, shadbala, aspects, dasha-bhukti as per vedic may not match the markings on Shukra rekha.

6) Preferably, use the indigenous Southern Chart format. This is because it uses clockwise motion for direct graha and counter clockwise for retrograde (apasavya) graha. Astro-Palmistry was originally developed by ancient Indians. Our indigenous chart format beautifully alligns with palm directions. In our ancient system, rashis were fixed (mounts), graha kept moving (lines) and hence the direction chart representing motion of graha resonates more with Southern chart.

Remember that there is nothing called Western Astropalmistry!

But in astrology, there are two different systems, Western orTropical & Vedic - Nadi or Sidereal. Do not compare Western palm reading with Nadi. In Nadi, every palm line is directly or indirectly linked to a graha. Whereas in Western system, lifeline, heartline and headline are not linked to any graha / planet.

Nadi is more predictive, as in, event timings etc. Western system focusses more on psychology of the native. These are some of the major differences between the two systems.

I m not belittling the Western system in any manner. My limited point is that these two are completely different systems though people call both these by a common name i.e palmistry.

The oldest known book of Hasta Samudrika shastra is almost 5000 years old! The oldest known Palmistry book in the West was written around 12th century. Varahamihira's Brihat Jatakam written in 500 CE also gives references of palm signs.

It is important to note that Hastarekha or Palmistry is just one of the parts of Astro-Palmistry!!

SOUTHERN WALL : VASTU SHASTRA

Southern wall is ruled by the diety Yama. The energy component is Fire. Governing graha is Mars. Generally, if there is imbalance in the southern wall, native faces career stagnation or lack of growth in business, stress levels may increase leading to blood related ailments, financial instability is common, disputes within the family and outside, recklessness / unwarranted aggression etc

This imbalance can be seen from native's palm. The square shaped area in the palm shows the Southern wall area.

If there is ripu rekha, moles, dots, intertwined ridges, islands, shiny lines, rope shaped or pointed lines, gunak / cross, star sign etc then one has to focus on balancing southern wall area in the native's home. An enlarged or outward bulging area also shows imbalance.

Please note that in some homes, southern wall may have defects. But it may not harm the native because these negative energies are not seen in the native's palm or birthchart.

Those Vastuvid who do consultation by considering only the directions and not palmchart of the inhabitant are definitely not well informed or knowledgeable. Every individual is unique. A house or shop that is south facing may give bad results to some natives. But the same shop may give bountiful returns to others! I have personally experienced it!

We must remember that it is not possible to completely rectify a dosh. But one can take remedial measures to reduce its negative impact. Vastu Shastra offers many solutions to balance this area. These remedial measures depend on the nature of the malefic influence and problems faced by the native.

Gurus Astropalmistry

In this palm, Jupiter is chained and unable to bless the native. Possible astrological reasons:
- Jupiter is neecha
- Jupiter is in direct view of enemy Rahu. Rahu being with enemy Mars and in lagna
- Jupiter is a functional malefic
- Jupiter's rashi has 2 malefics
- Rashi parivartan pits Jupiter with malefic Ketu

Mars is also malefic in this palm. Though it is malefic, it seems to be in somewhat better position as opposed to Jupiter. This is strictly as palm.

Possible astrological reasons:
- Mars being 3 & 8L is a functional malefic. It is placed in lagna with Rahu. Saturn 6L has drishti on Mars.
** There is a STRONG Connection seen between Mars - Jupiter in the palm **

Some other observations that show lagna and lagnesh being weak are:
- Mer being LL in 9H is generally seen to give poor results
- LL is with 12L
- LL gets Saturn's drishti
- LL viewed by Rahu
- Lagna has two malefics
- Lagna has Saturn's aspect
- Neecha and functional malefic Jupiter's drishti on Mer may not always bring good results.

VENUS seems unafflicted in the palm. Placed in 10H, it may be the director of native's karma. 9L in 10H is good. But Venus in 10H loses digbala. Tendency to lose interest in family matters is a possibility.

SUN IN 2H

When Sun is in 2H and 2H is either Vrushabh - Kanya - Makar rashis
--> Native has harsh speech; distorted speech
--> Cannot accumulate wealth
--> chances of rise in debt burden
--> Inheritance: less chances of getting and even if native gets it, chances of losing it or incurring losses are higher.
--> Native seeks to do business; doesnt like jobs. But for native to succeed in business, Dhanesh (2L) should be strong. 2L should not be vakri / combust / slowmoving / Atichari or in yuti with papa grah.
--> if native's father got success after native's birth, then, such a native will depend on his father for financial support. Native gets wealth only after father's death OR native might lose his father around age 22.
--> Native is helpful towards others.
--> This placement is good if native takes up professions related to law / medicine.

SUN IN 2H & MITHUN- TULA-KUMBH as well as KARK- VRISCHIK-MEEN as 2H Rashi

--> Native earns well, but, is stingy.
--> Earns wealth due to divine blessings

SUN IN 2H & MESH-SIMHA-DHANU as 2H rashis
--> Narcissist / talkative / looks for paid publicity

Note: For Vrischik / Dhanu / Makar / Kumbh LAGNA & SUN in 2H:
--> If Jup / Sat are Vakri and placed in 2H / 4H / 6H / 8H / 12H, then, chances of native slipping into poverty are high; may rely on others even for daily needs including food. (2H L are karaka for food).

Gurus Astropalmistry

EXCERPT FROM SRI R G RAO sir's ASTROPALMISTRY BOOK : 'Wonders of Life'

This palm print is from Sri. RG Rao sir's book, page number 94.

I have tried to simplify the description that sir has written. As you know, this book is the ONLY book available on Nadi Hasta Samudrik shastra and it is written in a highly coded (encrypted) language. I m trying to decode whatever is possible.

The author has mentioned that the native would taste success after age 26. The chart is in South Indian format. I have attached the diamond format in the same image.

Age 26+::::

Transit Jupiter is on natal Moon. Transit Jupiter has trinal connection with Sun+ Mer in virgo and Saturn + Ketu in capricorn.

Transit Saturn is in Dhanus. It is 11th from Natal Venus.

The shani rekha is THICK and bright. It shows that some luminatry is present close to Shani. If we look at the chart, Moon is in trines. It means, effect of moon is present until 26.

After 26, the rekha takes a slight turn as marked in the picture. Bhagya is set to rise after 26+. Venus is in the laabhsthan from transit Jupiter. As per Bhrigu Nadi, this shows gains.

Jupiter touches Moon around the age 26+, thereby bringing "changes". These changes are a result of divine help (Sun in trines) and changes in Karma / work (Saturn + Ketu in trines). Ketu shows end of something. It means, end of suffering.

Age 32:::

Saturn is on natal Jupiter. Shani rekha is cut after it has proceeded from 26 mark towards age 32. You can see it has reduced in its thickness. Ketu is all about tail like thin lines or needle like shape or CUTS..

Age 32 reflects the malefic effect of Ketu is coming to an end. Native will experience large gains or become prosperous.

I hope that the above description has been helpful in decoding some of the contents mentioned in page 94-95 of Sri. RG Rao sir's book, Wonders of Life.

If there are any errors in my interpretation, kindly mention it. Apologies in advance.

Namaskar🙏

DICHOTOMY between Udaya lagna rashi & Dominant rashi as per hastharekha

Udaya lagna / lagna / Ascendant refers to the zodiac sign (Rashi) that was rising on the eastern horizon at the precise time and location of the birth.

The Udit lagna or Ascendant changes approximately after every 2 hours. Thousands of people would be born with the SAME LAGNA. The Vimshottari dasha for all of them would also be same because Moon's placement would also be same.

Approximately, 2700 children are born every hour. All of them would have same lagna and same vimshottari dasha. Many would have same D9 charts and even same D9 lagna. Further, some of them would also have same higher order varga charts i.e d12, d30, d60 etc. This is dicey business!

Now lets look at this palm and chart. The chart shows udaya lagna rashi as Taurus / Vrushabha. But the structure of the palm shows NO CONNECTION to Bhoomi tatwa. In fact, the long rectangular shape does not indicate Bhoomi tatwa rashi at all!! Clearly, there is a dichotomy here.

If we look at the Tatwa chart, Northern Rashis representing Jala tatwa (water) are heavily populated. Moreover, the orientation and shape of JUPITER line or HEARTLINE (Jeeva Rekha) shows prominence of Jupiter in influencing the life path of this person.

This post does not intend to belittle the Vedic Jyotish concept of Udit lagna. Many Vedic Jyotishis consider either Moon or Lagna as reference points depending upon their relative strengths. I have merely added an additional reference point that can be considered based on Astropalmistry.
