Congrats $SCHD on reaching a new all-time high of $32.73. 🎉 Back in 2025, many investors panicked 🤯 when this ETF reconstituted heavily into energy. 🛢️ I took a contrarian view and bought more SCHD aggressively. 😎 Fast-forward to today, and it’s hard to imagine a portfolio that has “too much” energy exposure. A key lesson: The contrarian algorithm of SCHD may “see” opportunities that the average person may miss. The reconstitution is the value creation engine of the ETF, IMHO. Moreover, SCHD accomplished all of this while minimizing volatility. Congrats to all long-term shareholders. 🎉 (Disc: I’m long $SCHD. Not investment advice.)

Today was a dream come true for PPC Ian. 🙏 I had the incredible honor of attending the @NYSEofficial CRTR Economy event. This day was filled with networking, informative panel discussions, and even a visit to the NYSE trading floor to attend the market close! 🎉 Overall, today’s event marked the achievement of a lifelong dream/milestone for me.
I want to sincerely thank NYSE. I also want to sincerely thank @meetblossomsocial, who generously invited me to attend. Of course, I also want to thank each and every one of my subscribers/viewers (YOU). Your support of PPC Ian means so much to me. I am truly grateful, and I feel so inspired.
As a dividend growth investor, many of my favorite investments trade on NYSE. As I toured the trading floor, I even noticed some of my favorite tickers represented such as MO, MCD, KO, IBM, and DUK. It’s amazing to know that the companies I rely upon for qualified dividends trade right here at NYSE! I’m beyond grateful for everything. 🙏

Hi Friends, my favorite time of the quarter is earnings season. In my last YouTube video, I share some thoughts on three recent earnings report. Well, yesterday and today, even more earnings reports surfaced, and I'm excited to share a quick summary...
Alphabet ($GOOGL), a position I accumulated when it was on-sale due to concerns over possibly having to spin-off Chrome, has been an amazing performer in my portfolio over the last year. They crushed Q1 earnings, with 19% revenue growth in constant currency, and 82% EPS growth (not a typo). I'm sure glad I bough this stock.
Here's my GOOGL video: https://youtu.be/wWfjrNvHCGk?si=I1Kb2...
Here's the earnings release: s206.q4cdn.com/479360582/files/doc_financials/2026…
Meta ($META), a position I started accumulating recently also posted strong earnings, with revenue up 33% year-over-year and EPS up 62%. However, the stock dropped a lot today, due to concerns over increasing CapEx (AI data center build-out). I'm excited to see this, for my personal situation, as I'm still building my position.
Here's my META video: https://youtu.be/tApXtoJsFeg?si=YSq2M...
Here's the earnings release: investor.atmeta.com/investor-news/press-release-de…
Caterpillar ($CAT), one of my most successful investments, posted blow-out earnings. Revenues are up 22% year-over-year, and adjusted profit per share increased 30%. They are benefitting from the AI data center boom, as a "picks and shovels" provider.
Here's a fun YouTube Short I filmed on CAT: youtube.com/shorts/S_oVdqMoaq...
Here's the earnings release: s25.q4cdn.com/358376879/files/doc_financials/2026/…
Carrier ($CARR), another successful investment benefitting from the AI boom as a "picks and shovels" provider of HVAC equipment. Their data center orders are up 500%. I owned this one since before the spin-off.
Here's a fun OG video about CARR and related parent company: https://youtu.be/XV8Txpw-qHA?si=4qX7W...
Here's the earnings release: ir.carrier.com/news/news-details/2026/Carrier-Repo…
Altria ($MO) jumped to a new 52-week high on their stellar earnings today. With a huge concentration in my portfolio on Altria and related stocks, I'm quite pleased with the news.
Here's a video from when I bought MO when it was out-of-favor: https://youtu.be/Omn0RBY7qlA?si=Z7nWB...
Their earnings release is available on their investor relations website.
(I'm sure I'm leaving a company or two out here, but these are the big ones that caught my eye.)
Everyone, I wish you huge success with your investing.
(Disc: Not investment advice. I'm just sharing my journey for fun and entertainment. It's possible to lose money in the stock market. Please consult a licensed investment advisor before making any financial decisions.)
(Disc: I'm long $GOOGL, $META, $CAT, $CARR, and $MO. I own these stocks in my personal portfolio.)

Thanks, @DarthDividend, for your incredibly kind shout-outs in your recent interview with @Marcos_Milla. Your shout-outs really mean a lot to me, and I'm (very) humbled that I played a role in your journey! I thoroughly enjoyed your interview and watched until the end. (I suggest others do a well, because the content keeps building and is fabulous.)
At a personal level, I'm a big fan of you, Darth Dividend. You have consistently been an upstanding content creator, investor, and friend all these years. So thank you!
And, Marcos, you are one cool investor and friend, as well. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you in Chicago last year, and enjoy your videos. It's inspirational to see what you are doing with your content creation in the amazing ETF space.
Some of my key takeaways/notes from your presentation, Darth Dividend:
> It's ok to have a hybrid approach. You are not only a DGI (dividend growth investor), but also invest in weekly payers (higher yield) and even growth ETFs. I appreciate how you underscored the increased risk profile with the weekly payers, and how you are selectively reinvesting those into more classical DGI stocks/ETFs. I also like how you mention that all of us ought to at least understand the new innovations in the ETF space (this is something I have been working on).
> I like your story about your personal career, and how you changed careers. Congratulations on becoming a Nurse Practitioner, and following your career dreams.
> I enjoyed your story about your car and how you are very careful to avoid unnecessary expenses.
> Your emphasis on fitness is so important. Income investing and fitness go hand-in-hand.
> I really enjoyed your message about "just taking action". And, that it's ok to start at any age.
> Of course, really enjoyed seeing some of my personal holdings discussed, such as Starbucks (SBUX), Realty Income (O), BMO (BMO), and SCHD.
> Thank you for shouting out so many other amazing dividend investors/content creators. So many familiar names were mentioned, including @rynewilliams and @GenExDividendInvestor, two of my favorite content creators.
Also, a quick note… It was mentioned that I do not invest in covered call ETFs/high income ETFs are this time, and that is true. The reason I don't invest in such products (right now) is severalfold. 1) My wheelhouse is in classical DGI (dividend growth investing). I have a playbook and it works for me. I'm able to stick to it, and have been for a long time. 2) I'm of a lower risk profile, and do feel the classic DGI model is more representative of the risk I'm able to take. 3) I believe I'm reasonably good at value investing and I like to take action when I see a company (or entire ETF) undervalued. Due to my background in fundamental investing (Buffett approach), I find it easier to apply this philosophy in traditional DGI. 4) I really value tax-efficiency due to my taxable account structure. 5) I'm building a portfolio that I can pass on for generations, and try to optimize towards stocks/ETFs that have a lot of history/staying power.
That being said, I really like Amplify Funds (such as DIVO), and that one has been on my watchlist for a long time. It was fabulous to hear Amplify mentioned in the interview. I may add at some point! And, I’m taking a look at NEOS due to tax efficiency (especially their SPYI fund which you had mentioned to me back in Chicago, Marcos). I'm open minded to such opportunities, but it would not be a big percentage of what I do due to maturity of my existing portfolio and fact that I rarely sell.
Marcos and Darth, well done!

Congrats, $SCHD! 🎉 Today SCHD ETF reached a new all-time high of $30.55, on a day when major indices were down. While many questioned/doubted the algorithm, it’s doing exactly as it was always designed to do. 📈
In other news, congrats Walmart on the all-time high of $128.16. Congrats Caterpillar on surpassing $700/share and reaching an all-time high of $710.03. Congrats Johnson and Johnson on reaching a new all-time high of $235.20. The list goes on… 🎉
And, thanks PepsiCo for the 4% dividend increase. Full press release here: investors.pepsico.com/docs/pepsico-5v9wci20/media/…
Days like today illustrate the power of tuning out the noise/doubters, focusing on your own strategy/goals, and staying committed for long-periods of time.

As a dividend GROWTH investor, I always need to remember it’s a balancing act between current passive income needs and preservation/growth of future income. Very few shortcuts exist. It’s a marathon. 🏃♂️
