Footsteps To Inspire

Follow Claire McFarlane as she runs 16 kilometres of beach across 230 countries (that's the entire world). Her goal is to use sport as a way of peacefully ending sexual violence. It's called Footsteps To Inspire and a world first both as an expedition and social cause.

Claire has already travelled alone to 58 countries and run on 59 beaches.

There is always an open invitation to JOIN her for a run.

Why is she doing it?

Claire began this heroic expedition in response to my own personal trauma. In 1999, I was brutally raped and left for dead on the streets of Paris. He attacker was caught 10 years later through DNA. What followed was a long, costly struggle through the French justice system that only ended in October 2015. The ordeal lasted 16 years. Claire is now using her incredible story of survival to inspire hope in the hearts of women, men and children around the world.
