Lewis Hamilton to Ferrari is happening. At 2pm UK time the Mercedes team are having it confirmed to them in a team wide meeting and then a public statement will come out from the team. Before Mercedes ditched the "Zero Pod" design, they averaged 19.2 points per race. After they changed to a traditional sidepod concept they averaged 18.4 points a race. That means they lost 0.8 points per race by getting rid of the Zero Pod design. So did the team actually improve? Or did they just change for the sake of change?
