Helping autistic and AuDHD adults and parents of neurodivergent kids navigate the world of autism and ADHD
After Chris was late diagnosed as being autistic in addition to having ADHD, we have been learning about how to make adjustments to our lives to better support an AuDHD brain. Before that? We moved to Taiwan to build careers in education over 15 years ago. Since then we've helped over 1,000 families, supported neurodivergent students and staff, and traveled to numerous countries. Now we're sharing what we've learned about autism, ADHD, and life as a neurodiverse couple...all with our signature humor, positivity, and unique outlook on life together.
On this channel, expect a mix of wisdom, experiences, hilarious anecdotes, and useful tools. Weβre sharing our lived experiences as educators, as well as the lived experience of an autistic ADHD entrepreneur, manager, and teacher. Intrigued? Dive into our content! Grateful you're here with us!

Hi everyone, new video coming tomorrow about a topic that's sparked lots of questions here: https://youtu.be/Xls31iOQd1A
This will also be our last live premiere for a while due to scheduling conflicts, so come hang out and chat before the new video starts! (And don't worry β we'll still be sharing our weekly videos, and we'll make an announcement here before special sessions that include live premieres!)
β¨ Live chat begins 30 minutes before the video, which will launch at 12:30pm EST.
Let us know questions and thoughts about this topic of autism vs. trauma, and be sure to share the video after watching with someone you think could learn from it, too!

Hey everyone! π We're talking right now about Emotional Regulation, and tomorrow we'll be back with a new video on this topic, this time from Debby's perspective.
It'll launch at the usual Friday time: 12:30pm EST. We won't have a live chat/premiere this week, BUT we'll plan to have one next week for a special topic that we've never discussed here before... so mark your calendars for that! π
In the meantime, let's weigh in on our current topic. What areas of emotional regulation impact you the most? π
And don't forget to watch the new video on Friday β see you soon!

Hey everyone β we've been talking a lot about masking and autistic fatigue (here are a few of those videos, in case you missed them): www.youtube.com/playlist?list...
And while we're on the topic of energy, we'll be taking a one week break from YouTube. We're busy working on some new content and feeling pretty stretched (which is honestly hard to admit sometimes), so we'll be back next week. We also shared this earlier in the week in our newsletter, but in case you're not getting it yet... why the heck not?! It's free and we share lots more personal stories each week there, along with other updates, videos, and resources. Sign up here: www.auticate.com/join-us
We're enjoying your comments and emails from last week. Let us know in the comments if you have suggestions for future videos. Thanks for being here, and we'll see you next week! β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ

Got the video working π₯³ check it out here: https://youtu.be/vlohx3euKaY
Thanks for the patience with that! And let us know in the comments which of the points surprised you, connected the most, or anything else. (And if you caught the original version during the Live Premiere β see if you can spot the differences!)
We'll be back with more on masking next week at our usual time!
Have a relaxing weekend,
Chris & Debby

Hey everyone, we had an issue with a portion of today's video, so we will be sharing it again once that's resolved! Sorry for the change, but we're working to get that fixed so it's ready for you all soon.
In the meantime, grab our Masking Reflection Guide here: bit.ly/4mBmEO8

New video this week!! It's the first for our series on Executive Function β and our Live Chat/Premiere will be at the usual time...but if your country recently participated in a time change, please check your local time when you click onto the video! https://youtu.be/qSviaxQ48d8
β Fun fact: Not every country changes time in the spring/fall (thank you, Taiwan, for never adjusting the time β€οΈ)... and apparently different regions change on different weekends! Just a heads up for our friends in North America and anywhere else that changed recently.
Also excited for the feedback on last week's poll β we've got a lot coming on these topics and more in the works soon too.
π₯ Here's what's ahead in the next few weeks:
- Do you struggle with executive function? Take this quiz
- Why you can handle big tasks but not small ones
- Why you struggle with time
- Motivation isn't the problem. This is.
See you tomorrow! π₯³

Hey everyone, hope you're having a great week! We'll be taking this week off, so no new video this week βΒ but we'll be back next week (March 13th) when we start talking about Executive Function.
In case you want to catch up on February's videos on Autistic Fatigue and Energy: www.youtube.com/playlist?list...
Or on Autistic Burnout, which came up a lot in the comments last month: www.youtube.com/playlist?list...
And we'd love to hear β what are YOUR challenges with executive function? β€΅οΈ Choose the one that's your biggest nemesis, and if your option isn't here, drop your thoughts in the comments. We've got a lot on the way with this later this month!
See you next week!! β€οΈ

This month, we'll be talking about a big topic for autistic, ADHD, and AuDHD adults: ongoing fatigue and challenges with energy. πͺ«π
If you're always tired and can't seem to find a way to get your energy back, we've got a lot for you on the way. You're definitely not alone, and this is a topic that's come up often in the Auticate community, in research, and in our own lives.
π₯ Hereβs what we've got coming this month:
- Here's why you're always exhausted (and it's probably not what you think)
- I love people, but being around them exhausts me
- Tiny things that quietly drain autistic people
- How I got my energy back after years of autistic fatigue
π First video of the month drops this Friday at the usual time β join us for the live premiere and chat at 12:00pm New York (Fri.) / 5:00pm (Fri.) UK β with the video premiering 30 minutes later. π₯³ https://youtu.be/K67BiYQj2tQ
And let us know what topics you're looking forward to this month... and also suggestions or ideas for later this year! ‡οΈ

New video today at our usual time! Live chat starts at 5:00pm UK / 12:00pm EST π₯https://youtu.be/W01ptOzRDDU
And last week we got to see more about where everyone is on their journey of understanding after learning we're autistic/AuDHD! So what are some "mistakes" you made early on after realizing you were neurodivergent? Or advice you'd give yourself now, looking back on that period? We'd love to hear it here β€΅οΈ or in the comments after you watch the new video β see you soon!

But first, a quick survey as we've been talking about what it can be like when you're realizing you're autistic or AuDHD as an adult β especially in those first few months.
So where are you on your journey? Share with us in the poll β€΅οΈ and also tell us: what's helped you as you relearn yourself? What are you struggling with? And what do you wish more people understood about this journey? We'll have a lot more to help along the way too π
