As a film music lover, I made a lot of extended & remastered versions of my favorite music themes. I'm not a sound engineer, just someone trying my artistic skills at sound editing. Learning this by myself and for myself, basically. But then, I thought it may interest other people, so I decided to share my sound editing work on this channel. That's about it! Enjoy!

Note: My channel makes almost no money from YouTube (even if YouTube is bombing my videos with ads because of the copyrighted content ID), so please consider supporting my editing efforts by giving my videos some likes and by sharing them.

The Orchard Music Scammers continue to claim copyright for music that isn't theirs. That's very usual that some bands sample movie music elements into their tracks and then put a copyright on Youtube for it! Resulting in the fact that every video using the original music on Youtube is cut by ads to the benefit of these bands and NOT to the rightful copyright owner. In this case, Christopher Young. And Hellraiser music is supposed to be owned by UMG not this Orchard Scammers and certainly not these Mekong Delta dudes, whoever they are. And they keep rejecting appeals. At least they should correct the mistake when we report it to them. But no, they keep validating the false claims (forcing me to delete several of my videos, including Phantasm and Ghost in the Shell, both deleted due to this kind of false content ID claims!). So, I want to put this SCAM in the light of the day again, so everyone is aware of that. And in the meantime, just for statistics for the haters that keep saying that "I steal music", my channel brings something like 10000$ to the music industry every month... Would they share the cake with me? No. It's just a hobby and I only get satisfaction while I contribute to get their music known (Free Publicity?) and certainly allow them to make a lot of money on my back (contrary to what some say or think). Needed to clarify this as well. This has been a hobby for me for the past 5 years, each video is many hours of daily work and yes I put my name on them for that, much to the dismay of some zealous and jealous haters that seems to be more concerned about it than the composers themselves (Just for info, I am in contact with many of them and they have no problem with that!).

By the way, the screen capture says this:

Hello Gilles Nuytens,

After reviewing your dispute, The Orchard Music maintains that its copyright infringement claim is valid.

Video title: Christopher Young - Hellraiser I & II - Theme Suite [Ultra Extended by Gilles Nuytens]
Copyrighted content: Suite for Group & Orchestra - Dance (The Corrupt/The Chronicle of Doubts - Book 3/Chapter 18)
Content claimed by The Orchard Music

Last thing, I am going through some personal problems at the moment, so the amount of video I produce is slowing down.

*Maria Vidal: Body Rock [Re-Extended]* video has been suddenly blocked after 4 years. Out of nowhere. No action possible, my appeal has been rejected just 1 hour before its expiration date (they had 30 days to examine the case and they took 29 days and 23 hours to examine it and reject it). Re-upload resulted in a new blockage and uploading it to Soundcloud got the same result: blocked again. I wonder what's up with this now, the content ID was correct, they got their royalties from the ads that they heavily put in my videos, so they earned a lot of money from my upload here. I have no clue what's wrong with these guys and why suddenly they blocked this video after 4 years without problem.

So, if you want it, I'll gladly send it to you. Just contact me in private (Facebook, Soundcloud, Twitter, Instagram,...). Links to my social networks are on my profile here.

GOODBYE Phantasm (1979) video! I have been once again victim of the copyright scam and I want to once again denounce this situation that happens more and more. There are some obscure unscrupulous bands that sample music from old movies (especially horror movies) and include it in their songs, even sometimes as the intro of their albums. I have no problem with that, good for them, I don't care. The problem is that they register it as their own to Youtube, therefore every video that use the original soundtrack material get a copyright claim, not from the real owner, no, but from these scam bands as I call them. Of course, as they have the false content ID registered, they will cut your videos with ads and get ALL the ads revenue from that! From ALL videos on Youtube. From popular soundtracks, imagine what they collect, certainly much much more than with their own poor pitiful songs. I can understand that when they register their songs, it's difficult to separate their real music from the sampled parts. But what is unacceptable and totally dishonest is when you make yourself a Counter-Strike claim about this "scam", with all proof that your video is legit and has nothing to do with their material, and that their claim isn't legit - and yet, they reject your claim and keep their false copyright content ID.

Today, I had to delete my 4 years old video of "Phantasm 1" (11k views) because of that, in order to keep my channel safe from deletion due to these scammers.

The specialist for these scams is a company named "The Orchard Music". Always the same company when I get this problem. They always refuse to remove their fake claims. They want the money. Their original works is crap and get no views, so they grab money elsewhere. Last time, they forced me to delete my video of Ghost in the Shell because of the exact same situation.

The bands stealing the music of Phantasm (composed by Fred Myrow & Malcolm Seagrave) are these:

1: "DJ Caique, Tati Botelho" for a track named "Estado Febril", registered by The Orchard Music in the name of EnPiratProduksjon.

2: "ZigZag-Zvor" for a track named "Rekreasjon (introduksjon)", registered by The Orchard Music in the name of Carlos Henrique Benigno.

I will repost my edit in my soundcloud account and provide you a link to download it in FLAC, check the comments below. on.soundcloud.com/BfDTdgU4BQpif9Eq5

Hello everybody. I have been thinking lately about maybe redoing some of my older videos to fix some imperfections, bugs or other problems. So, let me know which video you think would require a new upload with modifications and why. Please, be precise and explain why you think I should redo it. Is it a problem with the video only (bad effects such that damn flicker - a terrible idea of mine - that aren't good, bad image quality, etc.) or is it a problem with the music? Bad sound (too sharp? Too loud? Too something else?), bad editing (cuts between tracks aren't good enough?), bad overall mixing (elements aren't pu together well enough as a whole composition?), etc. Don't hesitate to add details and be honest, but only constructive and kind criticism, please. If you think something is bad you can say it but you have to say why and in a non aggressive way.

Note: This is NOT the place to post suggestions for NEW videos, for that, see another post below, the one with the mention "post your suggestions here".

What's next? Below is a list of the upcoming videos you'll see soon on my channel. I'm posting a wide variety of genres, depending on what I like on the moment (from unknown independent B movies to super blockbusters). I like all sort of styles, mostly those that can create emotion with their melody. So I'm aware that it's nearly impossible to please everyone each time. I see not all of you like my latest videos from the Ring saga. People are unfollowing everyday. Well, I'm sorry you don't like them. But other stuff is coming next, don't worry. This series took me a huge amount of time and energy to do because most of these were unreleased stuff (especially those that are coming next). So, please be patient. Therefore to make your wait easier, here is what to expect for the next 3 weeks. Hope you'll find something worth a wait.

Hello everybody. Starting next week, I'll start a pretty long series of videos based on 2 Japanese horror series: Ju-On (The Grudge) and The Ring (I've already posted a few in the past, now I complete it with the rest of it). I've worked on music from the various films and TV shows. So far 13 videos are ready and scheduled, more to come. I'm aware that not everybody of you may like this but don't worry, other stuff is coming next. Please don't unfollow if you're not interested, just wait for the next stuff.

Hello. Following my latest post, here is what's happening. Music thiefs have registered illegitimately the music from the movie Ghost In The Shell (1995) and claim the copyright and the revenue of the ads here on Youtube. For all the videos using that music. Here's the story, some obscure hard rock bands (I love hard rock, but that's not the point here) regularly re-use movie music for their songs and here is the case with GITS 1995. While the "dispute" process usually give me right about it resulting in the content ID claim to be removed, two bands named respectively "Versvs" and "El9mm" are sticking with their false claims and now threatens me. They have used the theme of Ghost In The Shell and incorporated it into their song and now claim the copyright for everybody that has used the music from this movie into their videos. While the real copyright holder remain silent. This means that everybody's work and especially Kenji Kawai's music will now generate revenue for someone that has absolutely nothing to do with it. Someone that STOLE the music (claiming it's THEIRS!!!). That is totally unacceptable for me. Never will I let scammers generate revenue on my back and on the back of the real authors. The original CD mention Victor Entertainment Japan as the copyright holder of the album (BVCR-729 / 74321-32154-2), however after contacting them, they said the owner is Ariola Japan which is a subsidary company of Sony Music Entertainment Japan. After an email to them, they said they won't do anything... and Youtube helpdesk is totally useless, they said they are neutral an don't intervene in this kind of conflict. So well, they let scammers continue to generate revenue on the back of the real authors. Awesome!

As there's no other solution I can only denounce the scammers.

The bands that are re-using the music and now claim the false copyright of « Ghost in the Shell 1995 » music are these 2:
« Versvs » : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfQv8...
« El9mm » : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VcSMM...
*Please, report these 2 videos for copyright issue. They are thiefs, just music scavengers.*

And as the labels claiming this are not removing the claims, not even responding to me, to me they are just accomplices of this scam and I will let their name here: *The Orchard Music* and *Dance All Day*.

This is totally insane that nobody wants to do something about it and let scammers continue generate revenue for a content they don't own! Where is the all powerful Youtube copyright system when we need it?

Nobody is wanting to help so I'll have no choice than to delete my own video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFpw3... ) so the scavengers-scammers won't put a copyright strike on my channel. This puts me in a terrible wrath.

In the meantime, I give you my FLAC file of the music, see the pinned comment below.

Hello. Just sharing a little issue I'm having regularly here. Maybe some of you got the same problem. The fact is that after 3 years of using my channel and posting so many movie music, I realized that Youtube's content ID copyright thing is sometimes really wrong. In the past years I received many content ID claims from completely unknown hard rock bands that re-use movie music in their songs, mostly from horror movies. The problem is that they claim the copyright for it in all Youtube's videos using the original source of the movie music! Then, for example, I made an extended version of the music from the film "The Relic" from John Debney, but the legitimate right holders did not registered it apparently here on YT, therefore you can post it without content ID claim. But an obscure hard rock band has re-used the main theme for the intro of their album (did they have the authorization??) and therefore, my video gets a copyright claim and get cut to put ads that generate revenue for that hard rock band. So, I work hard to make remixes and special edits and then someone else just take all the benefits for it (while cutting my videos in 2 to put their ads!!). Do you find this normal? I do not. And then the worst is when you send a contestation and even an appeal and it is twice rejected. I prefer not posting the video than to work for these SCAVENGERS to make money on my back and on the composer's back. So, my video on The Relic won't be posted. A shame because it's pretty good. But I refuse the illegitimate copyright claims. Money from ads MUST go to the legitimate rights holders, not to scavengers. Now, it's the video from The Ghost in the Shell, that I posted approximately 6 months ago that is under threats. The music from Kenji Kawai seemed to be free of content ID here on Youtube until 2 days ago when 2 unknown hard rock bands decided to register it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFpw3... (see the 2 content ID, below the video). They just ripped the music from the film to include it into their song/album and now claiming the copyright. I refused that claim and now my video is under threat of DELETION. Do you believe that? They rip off music from others, make money on all Youtube's video and then threatens you if you do not comply.🤬 WTF? I have 2 choices: delete my video or accept their false claim. What can I do?? I have seven days. Is Sadako coming for me after that?

However, this said, most of the companies usually agree with me and remove their claim. But there's always these that puts spines into your feet and ruin it all...

Audio glitch in my latest videos (and earlier too). Hello. A quick question. Am I the only one experiencing this weird issue here? All of my latest videos have an audio glitch at the exact same timecode each, at 0:05 of the videos. A "clic" that appeared AFTER the video has been uploaded. Very very strange because firstly this glitch isn't there on my original videos but even weirder, it wasn't there when I checked them before the videos went public and even once it got public, that glitch only appeared a few hours later. Contacting the support team, they reprocessed the videos but nothing changed. Have a check by yourself:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHJk0...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yhdw3...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfboS...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAbSl...
And more are being damaged. So far I counted 8 videos with this problem (some are a few months older).

Therefore I took the decision to stop any further post until they solve this issue. In case they cannot repair the damaged videos, I'll avoid any new videos to get "infected" by these annoying audio glitches. Hoping for a solution very soon.

You know of a music that would require some enhancement, lost unreleased music that would need to be released, anything that you think would fit in my channel, something that I may be interested in, then post your suggestions here. Here is the place to centralize this. Avoid posting that on random videos because it will be lost in the mass of comments. But please keep in mind that these are only gentle *suggestions*, not requests. It's not because you ask for it here that I will do it. I may or may not do it depending on many factors (personal taste, availability, feasibility, etc.). Don't be mad if I don't do it, it's not against you. And please, please, don't do harsh requests (you know, those that feel like I got an order to do that for you) because I'll skip them. Politeness and kindness are still values to keep in mind. Remember that I do this in my free time as a hobby.
