Every year on this day, I'm at a loss for words. There is just no combination of words to express my gratitude and love for a family/individual's choice to gift the gift of life to someone they never met. I would not be here today without this difficult decision they had to make. While I celebrate another bonus year of teaching, traveling, and LIVING I know their hearts are heavy for the loss of their loved one. I can only hope that someday they will see my expressions of gratitude and love for someone I will never be able to meet. I LIVE everyday to honor my donor and not a day goes by that I don't say a silent "thank you" to them. So today on the 8th anniversary of it becoming "OUR HEART", I want to yell for everyone to hear "THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING TO DONATE! YOU SAVED MY LIFE!" Here's to many many more years of experiences with OUR heart!!

7 years! How? Some days, it seems like forever ago, and others seem like yesterday! Our journey is not always easy, but because of you and your family, I am blessed daily!
