2 reasons: The first is it helps Odysee grow it's contributor base, and god knows we need more viable video hosting sites. The second is they have an incredibly handy sync feature which will automatically copy over any videos you upload to Youtube. Basically giving you an automated backup in case Youtube's AI mods decide to get "frisky" with your channel. Something that seems to be happening with alarming frequency to more and more people.

I had intended on releasing some new visualizer songs after the release of Slow Your Roll, but somehow the creative bug got up my ass again immediately after and I started working on another video. I'm going to spend the weekend putting the finishing touches on so, barring any "incidents", this latest video should debut on Monday, and then I have 3 additional songs that will be released in visualizer format over the course of the week. Filled with dark humor, the song celebrates chaos, recklessness, and laughing at your own train wreck of a life while the party keeps going.

Just a heads up, I'm working on a new music video for a new song and I'm doing a lot of things I've never attempted before so the development is dragging out as I'm having to learn as I go. I don't want to interrupt the process to work on other things because I'm really bad about not being able to recapture the creative spirit if I have to put something on hold. Anyways, I have a couple of new songs and a couple of remakes/remasters of some old songs on the back burner, I will be releasing them in visualizer format once I have completed this latest video for youtube to ignore. As of this past weekend Youtube appears to have basically shadow banned my channel, most subscribers are not getting notifications on new content and the amount of recommendations to new people has dropped off sharply according to YT analytics. This is after a previous 2 week period of increased activity and viewer interest. Very, very tiring to have to deal with these constant ups and downs and drama when all you want to do is share your FREE AND NON-MONETIZED content with people.

I have a new full length music video that I want to share with you all, but every time I upload it Youtube assigns a compression format to it (avc1) that makes it look like complete and utter ass. I am exploring some different file export settings options that are supposed to help, but in the meantime, if someone knows any kind of "trick" to get YT to use a better compression format on your upload I would welcome the information.
