Free association Post: Taking ny dog for a walk this morning there were some daffodils in bloom - a beautiful sign for imminent spring. I thought of the daffodils we have in a vase at home, I thought of the story of Narcissus, I thought of the still and moving images I’ve been taking, I thought of Ryūnosuke Akutagawa’s short story, “The Spider’s Thread”, I thought of black and queer rage, I thought of Sarafina, I thought of “KILLER ‘25” coming out on Friday.
Lovers, I'm delighted to announce that my EP, Leading Lines, will be released everywhere on December 16th. This collection of tracks encompass stories of love, sex, personal family dynamics and acceptance of one’s nature. 'My Ma Was Good' taken from Leading Lines is out today - go listen.
